This is a "Welcome Post" from the Chamber of Commerce, and we just wanted to encourage all of our followers to support Ogan's like you always supported Payne's Farm and Garden. They are going to bring a new and yet familiar service to a great community. Please get to know them and support them. We highly recommend their new store. And again, we thank you for all your support for Willie and his store while we were open.

The final papers were signed and deeded over to Mr. Bill Ogan. He and Jamie will own and be running the Farm Supply Store from now on. They hope to get it opened back up by the first of next week. We know you are going to love them. I know I have a new girlfriend in Jamie. Looking forward to them getting things set up and running like they want. Pat Ingram will still be working there so she will be able to introduce you to the new owners and wait on you just like before. Again, THANK YOU for the pleasure of serving you all and please support the Ogan Feed and Seed Store. We are blessed to have them come and keep the store up and running. Well folks, this Saturday, tomorrow will be Willie's last day at the store.

We are selling the store and the next week it will be closed as the new owners want to come in and start remodeling etc right away. The actual dates just changed so I didn't know about this until now.

It's going to be GREAT!!!!!! They want to keep the store up and running better than ever. Pat is staying on. YEAH! We are praying for a smooth transition and for them to have a great success with their Feed and Seed Store right here in friendly Butler, GA.

Please, when they reopen come in and meet them and welcome them. This will be a good thing. Stop by and buy something. Plants or if you love HONEY, we have the best local honey and we sell it several dollars cheaper than others nearby. If nothing else, grab a cold, coke or candy bar. Please, just make a point to support them like I know you all will.

It's been an honor and a pleasure to service this community. I know this will be harder than Willie is expecting. This store and property have been in Willie's family for several generation. We are excited to see what the new owners have in mind to bring you all.

We are very honored that the precious neighbors in Taylor County nominated Willie for this award given by the Taylor County Chamber of Commerce. Just to be in the list of nominees was humbling.
Willie has always had a servants heart. We are blessed to live here and be surrounded by such a wonderful community. Thank you again.
P.S. We couldn't attend due to a previous commitment. We had been planning on attending and then realized we couldn't.

SEED POTATOES ARE IN STOCK>>>WE HAVE RED PONTIAC, WHITE KENNEBEC AND YUKON GOLD.

YUKONS are a best seller and an excellent keeper! This favorite variety has attractive, smooth, thin yellow skin, shallow eyes with yellow flesh and uniform yields. Yukon Gold lends itself well into any method of potato preparation.

PONTIACS are easy and adaptable. Red Pontiac is perfect for home gardening. This variety is most likely the easiest and most adaptable red potato there is to grow, not to mention the consistent flavor! This potato has an attractive deep red skin and eyes, white flesh.

KENNEBECS are one of the most popular potatoes grown by home gardeners! It has high yields of large, white skin, white fleshed tubers grow well under harsh conditions. Kennebec's are superb boiled, mashed, fried, hashed or baked!

I don't know if you have heard or not, but my husband, Willie Payne is going to sell the Feed & Seed Store and Retire. We are hoping whoever who buys it will continue with the local store. We are not planning on closing the store until we sell it. We would greatly appreciate your continued business and thank you for supporting us for the many years we have been here.
