There was a reported exposure of PARVO at Jade’s Dog Park.
This is a very serious disease and Jades’s Dog Park will be sanitizing however this does not guarantee anything. The claim did not confirm the dog was in contact with anyone or went to the restroom, however, the risk is still there.
Please treat everyone with kindness, this was not intentional, everyone loves their pets and wants them to be safe. This is why it was reported, out of caution.
Please pay attention to your pet and contact your vet with any symptoms.

At the Butler County Board of Commissioners Public Meeting, it was approved at todays meeting that Jade’s Dog Park will have a temporary closure.
Jade’s Dog Park will close April 15th- May 24th for maintenance repairs to the gates and agility pieces, as well as grass maintenance and repairs.
We want to make Jade’s Dog Park is a continued destination for butler county and we appreciate your patience during this closure time.
We want to remind you that dogs are permitted to be walked anywhere in Alameda park with a 6ft leash and in direct control on their owner.

Just a reminder as the remaining gates open, by March 31st, Jade's Dog Park will become a ONE Way in and ONE way out to enter the park. Please refer to the map below.
Please no longer use the temporary two-way drive, this will return to a stop sign.

*Special Event Alert*
Saturday December 2 and Sunday December 3 there will be a special event Bike Race at Alameda Park.

Parking areas may be limited or closed for the safety of the riders.
The playground and dog park will remain open, please just be mindful of the bike race and park in designated areas. Gates may be closed temporarily for set up and break down of the race.
