At the Butler County Board of Commissioners Public Meeting, it was approved at todays meeting that Jade’s Dog Park will have a temporary closure.
Jade’s Dog Park will close April 15th- May 24th for maintenance repairs to the gates and agility pieces, as well as grass maintenance and repairs.
We want to make Jade’s Dog Park is a continued destination for butler county and we appreciate your patience during this closure time.
We want to remind you that dogs are permitted to be walked anywhere in Alameda park with a 6ft leash and in direct control on their owner.

Spring is here🌼
Just a reminder as the remaining gates open, by March 31st, Jade's Dog Park will become a ONE Way in and ONE way out to enter the park. Please refer to the map below.
Please no longer use the temporary two-way drive, this will return to a stop sign.

*Special Event Alert*
Saturday December 2 and Sunday December 3 there will be a special event Bike Race at Alameda Park.

Parking areas may be limited or closed for the safety of the riders.
The playground and dog park will remain open, please just be mindful of the bike race and park in designated areas. Gates may be closed temporarily for set up and break down of the race.

Jade's Dog Park will be open on a trial basis for the 2023-2024 season.
🐾December 1- March 31 the road gates and dog park gates to access the dog park will be open for use.
🌬❄️Winter Maintenance will be limited and the park and dog park area will be use at your own risk. Please be careful.
❄️ Dog Park hours will remain 9:00am-9:00pm, please do not come in before or after the park hours.

Due to unseasonably freezing temperatures, the fountain pipes at Jade's Dog Park have broken and will be turned off for the remainder of the season. Please bring your own water with you for your dog.

Update: Jade's Dog Park will open on 9/27 at 3:00pm.

Unfortunately, we have had a report of Kennel Cough.
For the safety of our beloved pets we will close the park for 1 week and re-open Thursday, September 28th at 9:00am.

After mother nature froze our water lines multiple times, we are hopeful that we will not have any further issues.
