Meet Opie!
Description:
American Pit Bull Terrier Color: red/white
Male neutered, 1 Yr

Opie is just about the kindest and well behaved American Pit Bull Terrier pup you could meet. After coming to the shelter when his previous owner ran into issues with housing, he has been nothing but a "model" citizen. Although Opie is young, he is overall a pretty mellow guy that is content hanging with his family and accompanying them on all the fun expeditions he can. He loves to go for walks, runs and I have no doubt he'd be a great hiking partner. Opie has lived with other dogs and would love to have a canine companion in his new home. He was previously living with his beautiful sister Oreo so if you're in need of a couple pups, these two would not hesitate at the chance to share a home again. Opie is housetrained and knows his basic commands. He likes all people and is well behaved with kids. He is still young and just getting out of his puppy stage so he would benefit from some additional training and lots of exercise. Opie is interested in cats, but would be able to share a home with one or two. Opie will bring nothing but joy and love to his new home, don't miss out on the chance to call him yours.

Meet Oreo!

Description:
American Pit Bull Terrier Color: black/white
Female spayed, 2 Yr

Oreo is as sweet as the treat she is named for. Oreo arrived at the shelter with Opie, when her owner could no longer keep them due to housing restrictions. But, Oreo has not let this minor setback get her down. Her tail has not quit wagging since she walked in the door and she is certain the right family will come looking for her any day now. Oreo is housetrained and knows her basic commands, but like her brother Opie, she would benefit from additional training with an alpha owner. Oreo enjoys most other dogs but can be a bit sassy with other dominant pups. She would be best either as the only dog in a home or sharing it with a submissive male, as this girl likes to be in charge. Oreo is very active and would be a great outdoor buddy. She is sure to keep you in shape and entertained. As for cats, Oreo needs a feline free home. She finds it just too fun to chase them. Oreo is great with all people, but is better with older children. She just has so much energy and forgets her size sometimes and may knock smaller kids down. Oreo is a wonderful girl that deserves only the best life can offer, she knows the perfect home is out there and is patiently waiting for her chance at happiness.

Meet Blaize! Description:
American Pit Bull Terrier X Color: light brindle
Male neutered, 2 Yr

Notes:
Open the door, back up and prepare to have Blaize bound joyfully right into your heart! This big magoo has a heart of gold that is filled to the brim with fun. He is quite the handsome dog with gorgeous blonde brindling, meaningful eyes that are super serious about being your dog and ears that will pick up a signal 3 towns over. Blaize also can do just that with his goofy, athletic legs that you would swear belong to a puppy. He would make the ideal side kick to a Big Sky explorer, but honestly anywhere he goes with you, he will make it an adventure even hanging out on the couch watching a movie. He is that cool. Blaize is house-broke, he loves all people, likes other dogs and has so far been slightly curious of cats. Honestly, not sure which side of the cat fence he is going to land. Blaize is bringing nothing but happiness and good times wherever he goes. So, join the Blaize band wagon your heart, friends and family will thank you!

Meet Mireya! Description:

Mireya is a bundle of fun and energy. She was brought to the shelter after a concerned citizen found her running on the highway, luckily she was not injured. Mireya is now ready to find a loving forever home where she will always be safe and loved. She is a boatload of personality and always keeps you entertained. This girl needs an active home that will be sure she gets daily walks/runs and that has plenty of time to play with her. Mireya is still young and is learning her commands and basic manners. Mireya is food motivated and wants to please, so finding a patient home that is willing to guide her into the perfect dog we know she is, is a must. Mireya would be best in a home where all doggie attention is focused on her. She likes other dogs but plays very rough and could be overwhelming for other pups. She needs a cat free home because they just look too fun to chase. Mireya is a ball of energy that just needs a place to call her own and a loving family to keep her safe and show her true love.

Meet Rizz! Description:
Heeler X Color: black/tan
Male, 2 Yr

Notes:
Rizzy, Rizz how can I best describe this boy. Loyal, loving, goofy, the list could go on and on. He is truly a dog of many personalities, yet all of them are fabulous. This guy has been shuffled through too many homes in his short life. Although it was no fault of his own, all "human" troubles, Rizz has suffered the consequences. He is now wishing on every star that he will find his forever family and never have to be alone or scared again. Rizz is a bit on the timid side and takes a little time to completely trust new people. This is probably due to having so many different homes and never having something stable. But, once this boy decides you're ok, he will be all over you like 3 coats of paint. He absolutely loves attention and especially scratches and kisses. Rizz is believed to be part heeler and definitely has the energy of one. He is the ideal dog for walks, hikes, camping, fishing or anything else. He is also a great size and is easy to load up and head out on an adventure with. He likes other dogs and is well behaved around cats. He knows his basic commands and is housetrained. All Rizz needs is somewhere safe and filled with love to call his home.

Meet Trudy! Description:
Lab X Color: yellow
Female spayed, 8 yrs.

Notes:
Trudy is an adorable gal looking for a home that is all about her! She was found as a stray and surprisingly her previous owners never came looking for her. She is such a nice pup that it's hard to believe someone would give up such a good dog. Trudy is housetrained and knows her basic commands, she walks nicely on leash and likes all people. Like any dog Trudey does have a few quirks that just make her special in her own way. First, she is a bit of a diva when it comes to other dogs. She doesn't mind other mellow dogs, however if they get too nosey about her she will let them know that, that is just not ok. Because, of this it would be best if Trudy had doggie visitors rather than doggie roommates. Trudy is also a bit on the nervous side when it comes to thunderstorms, fireworks and other like noises. Due to her fear she would need extra consideration when left at home alone. It is something we believe would be easy to manage with the right kennel set up and attentiveness from her doggie parents. Trudey is well behaved around cats and we believe she has lived with children in the past. Trudey is at a great age where she is still spunky and enjoys exercise but has the wisdom of several years under her belt. She would love a home where her family was home most of the time with her and where she could be the one and only special girl. If you need to spoil a pup then look no further, she's right here waiting!
