Fleas have a stigma that they only are around in warmer months, dirty areas and outdoor pets. Unfortunately, this is far from the truth and nothing to be ashamed of. The first key to protecting your pet is using YEAR ROUND prevention. Some pets are very adept at grooming, especially if they are itchy and have a rash. It is that time of year again!
May Fly Bites are back!

We have been receiving a lot of calls, texts and emails from clients about red circular rashes located on their dogs bellies. These are May Fly bites. These bites should resolve on their own. Keep the area clean and dry, keep up to date on flea and tick preventative, and try to avoid areas where May Flies congregate such as lakes, ponds, and cranberry bogs.
