When Jules was just figuring it out

This 8 year old grade paint mare stands about 15.1-2hh
She is thick, smart, fast, talented, and challenging. Great project for someone as a life long exceptional parter. Or she is going to be a gritty, money making machine for someone with some great riding skills, that like the challenge. She has had 90 days riding on her, and now I’m going to start giving her a job. She is safe for an experienced rider, with some miles she will be great for anyone. Located in Byron, GA *PM for additional into etc.

This video is just her today, and the first day she’s ever seen a barrel pattern. Trotted through, played through, walked two patterns, and then this is what she gave me. She needs to go somewhere she can excel, and progress. She’s going to be nice

This mare is so intense, she’s always anticipating her next move, and she’s very forward about it. So we work-work-work and try to keep doing different things. I had never taken her around the barrels. Today I stretched her out (lopes her around & did silly stuff) then I decided to trot her through the pattern. We barely made it through one pattern trotting, without her moving into a lope. So we did it again this time I let her lope (whatever) 🤷🏽‍♂️ That actually went pretty well 🤗 heyyy to heck with it I got her to walk through the pattern twice pretty correctly……. This time I picked her up into a lope and let her work exactly how she wanted to but helped her and corrected her along the way and this was the outcome 🥰 pretty excited about this lady!
