🐾 Hey Cabot! Let’s Talk “PAW-lite Behavior!” 🐶🐱
We love our furry residents here in Cabot — they bring joy, love, and occasionally a little chaos (looking at you, fence jumpers 👀).
But even our four-legged citizens have a few rules to follow, straight from the City of Cabot Code of Ordinances — and knowing them keeps tails wagging and neighbors smiling!
Here’s the quick scoop 🦴:
✅ A Leashed Dog is a Loved Dog!
If your dog is outside, it must be on a leash. (Yes, even if they’re really good at staying beside you… until a squirrel appears 🐿️.)
💉 Vaccinated and fabulous.
All pets must have up-to-date rabies vaccinations. It’s the law and the best way to keep everyone healthy — pets, people, and porch-snoozing possums alike.
🏷️ Tag — you’re it!
All dogs in Cabot need a City license tag. Think of it as their official Cabot ID card (and fashion statement).
🏡 How many is too many?
Cabot allows up to four (4) dogs & cats combined per household — because after that, you’re not a pet owner… you’re running a pet parade! 🎉
🚫 “I didn’t know” doesn’t cut it.
These rules are part of our city ordinances, and following them helps us protect your pets, your neighbors, and your community. ❤️
So, if you love Cabot (and we know you do), let’s keep it PAW-sitive, responsible, and full of wagging tails.
