Mr. Magoo came in with a mass on his sweet little noggin. After a quick vet visit, Dr. Pallone decided that it would be best to remove the mass for health reasons. Our quote is $200 to have the mass removed. Please consider donating toward his mass removal. We would like to get it removed as quickly as possible. Mr. Magoo is such a sweet boy! He deserves the best care we can provide.

Surgery appointments are now open for the month of February!!

The fee per pet under 100lbs is $100 which includes the spay or neuter and a Rabies vaccine if your pet is not up to date. You can apply for a voucher to offset a portion of the cost through the CARE for Animals website (https://www.careforanimals.org/spay-neuter-assistance) or Arkansans Assisting Homeless Animals - AAHA website (https://www.aaharescue.com/spayneuter-voucher). Both will decrease the surgery fee by $40-$50 per pet. You can't beat those prices!

When the need for affordable care is so hard to come by, don't let this opportunity pass you by.
Book your appointment online at https://cabotanimalsupportservices.com/services/low-cost-spay-neuter-clinic/.

**FOSTER NEEDED**

Meet Brando! Brando has been with us since September and has recently displayed higher stress levels from shelter life. We all know what it's like to feel overstimulated and under pressure! Giving him a safe space and home to decompress will bring him back to his happy, easy-going self. This boy has all the hugs, loyalty, and love to give, so seeing him thrive is very important! Although he can be shy at first, he warms up to new people quickly and is ready to hang out, play, and zoomie around. He is always calm and cooperative and is ready to learn new things when worked with.

Fostering is a fantastic way to give back to your community by helping with adoption efforts and showing pets a glimpse into their bright future with forever families. If you are interested in becoming a Foster Hero and fostering Brando, fill out the form at this link: https://form.jotform.com/210905577356158

Fosters are invaluable to us and make a huge impact on pets like Brando getting adopted. We'd love to have you sign up to join our Foster Family and change some lives! ❤️🐶

Due to the impending weather, we have made the decision to close the shelter at 3pm today so that our team members who commute in can make it home safely. At this time, it appears that we will also be closed tomorrow if the weather hits as they are predicting. Our staff will be at the shelter in the morning to make sure all pets are cleaned, fed, and medicated as they would on a normal day. If you have a pet emergency, please contact the Cabot Police Department and they will page an officer out to assist. We hope that everyone stays safe and warm over the next few days! Keep a watch on all outdoor pets during this time!

***PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AND SHARE ALL OVER SOCIAL MEDIA***

All of these pets have come in as FOUND within our community either this week or late last week. We have been unable to locate their families at this time. The shelter is currently over capacity and we need to get these pets back home. If you own one of these pets or know where they belong, please let us know. Our number one goal at the shelter is getting pets back home. Please help us reach that goal! SHARE SHARE SHARE!!!

We are watching the weather closely and will keep you posted if we happen to close early due to inclement weather. As of right now, we are open our regularly scheduled hours of noon to 5pm.

Please remember to keep a watch on any outdoor pets during this time. Make sure they have plenty of shelter and an escape from the wind. Straw should be provided inside any structure that they utilize for housing. Blankets and hay will retain moisture and freeze resulting in your pet also freezing. They will also need fresh water regularly since it will freeze quickly. Please be safe out there!
