Are you sitting at home bored? Kids bored? Well, our dogs are BORED too!! They love receiving enrichment activities to keep their mind busy. We currently have Kongs waiting to be stuffed! If you are interested in stuffing Kongs, please EMAIL [email protected] to get started. It's super easy and fun! We have a limited number of bags available so don't delay! Pickup will be TODAY from 3-5pm at the Cabot Animal Shelter (2951 S. 1st Street). You must have a confirmation email from us before picking up Kongs. Please plan to return them by the end of the day TOMORROW (12/13). We have a quick turnaround this time due to being completely out!

It's that time of year!! If you volunteered, fostered, or adopted a dog or cat from our shelter this year (2024), you have the chance to win a $1,000 grant for our facility from MuttNation. Recovered......

Domestic Shorthair Cat (Orange Tabby w/White Markings) recovered from Hwy 321 at S. 1st Street. No microchip or collar was located. If this is your pet or you know where it belongs, please give us a call at 501.628.5900, Option 1. We are very sorry for your loss. We will hold this sweet kitty for 7 business days for the owner to reclaim.

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!!! Cabot Animal Support Services, the Cabot Animal Shelter, and Animal Field Services will be closed today (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday) in observance of Thanksgiving. We will resume normal business hours on Monday, December 2nd. If you have an animal emergency, please contact the non-emergency line for the Cabot Police Department, and they will page a Field Services Officer out. This is for emergencies only.

We hope you take this time to give thanks for all that you have! We are a community with lots to be thankful for.

Update.....The owner has been located and is en route to pick up their pet!

🚨 🚨 🚨 INJURED DOG FOUND!!! 🚨 🚨 🚨

Male Irish Setter (?) picked up at the 1200 block of Kerr Station. He appears to have been hit by a car. No microchip was found. He has a collar but no ID. If this is your pet or you know where he belongs, please message us on FB so that we can get him back home. PLEASE SHARE!!!

***ALERT***

Two dogs were just hit by a vehicle near the intersection of Hwy 38 and N. 2nd Street near the Circle K/Storage Units. The dogs were picked up by a kind samaritan who rushed them to the Emergency Clinic. Unfortunately, one dog passed on the way to the clinic. The other is fighting for his life. Both appear to be Shepherd Mixes. The phone number on the collar is 501.613.2242 but we cannot get an answer. The owner's name is listed as Calvin Carter. The dogs are Blue Boy and Molly. If these are your pets, please contact the finder immediately at 501.712.3556. If you know Mr. Carter and have a good number for him, please contact him immediately.
