It will not be a fun weekend but lets bring those outdoor pets inside this weekend (especially at night). Put them in a kennel, bedroom, bathroom, or garage with a space heater and lots of warm bedding.
Put lots and lots of straw/hay in outside dog houses because those blankets will freeze and do no good.
Put dog houses close to the house to help block some of the wind from getting inside.
Cut a hole in an old tote and fill it with straw for stray or outside cats to use.
Keep your garage door cracked 6 inches for outdoor cats to get out of the wind.

Everyone meet Duchess. I did mid day visits with Duchess for a week on Ft. Sill and I really enjoyed her! Shes more than just beauty! She is sweet, playful, loving, and funny!
I cleaned her litterboxes, fed her, brushed her when she would let me, keep her areas clean, washed her bowls daily, and relaxed in the sun looking out the windows. But my favorite thing to do with Duchess was play hide and seek which she is great at playing as she would sliiiddee around the corners to tag me.

Everyone meet Molly. Molly and I went from "no eye contact" relationship to "play play play" within of couple days. She is very wary of new people which she has every right to be but Im so glad she saw the good in my heart and decided that we were friends. We played hard every visit and yes I even spoon fed her for 4 days straight because its the only way I could get her to eat while her pawrents were gone. After the 4 days of being spoon fed and playing hard, she was comfortable enough to eat on her own which made us all happy! I look forward to the next time I get to care for Molly.

When you step and sllliiiddeee in dog p**p, accidentally soak your shoes trying to clean them at a clients house and now have to drive home without them so the heat can be blasted on the toes-ies to warm them up since its 28° outside.... all p**p still got cleaned up!

You rub their ears to say sorry even though its not your fault
Then you ask them if they want to put the ball down so their jaw feels better

Get 2 inches from your face and burp so big that you not only smell but also taste their dinner and now you wanna puke. 🤢

Reminder To All Dog Clients

I go over this with all clients for Weekly and Vacation Care but I want to extend a reminder that I do not walk dogs in certain conditions. I know its starting to get colder and as much as we want it to stay 70°, we all know that's not going to happen and I have to look out for myself and your pups.
If we have talked about me walking your dogs then I will still do so but I do not walk dogs in the rain, snow, if storms are moving in because I dont want to be caught out in it, high stray dog appearances, or if temps are below 55°.
I know 55 might not seem bad to you but with colder temps comes sickness that I dont want. If Im sick due to walking dogs in the cold all week then I am unable to tend to your pups or anyone elses until I am better or risk bringing the illness into your home.
Colder temps means more layers I have to pack on which makes it harder to maneuver your dogs around and be able to protect them if a loose dog wants to attack.
If I encounter stray dogs everytime I walk your dog, then its not safe for us and they will no longer be walked to keep us all safe from an aggressive dog.
Some thin haired dogs dont do well in the cold either. And that cold wind can give dogs ear infections which is a vet bill and a pup in pain which neither of us want.
I wont come to your home and sit the whole time (unless that is what you have asked of me)! Im not doing this to be lazy! I have to think about many aspects of walking dogs which is what makes me a professional and not just some kid wanting money.

This is my baby, Dallas. 1 of his favorite things to do is roll around in the grass and be 1 with the grass by the time he is done. He also hates when I brush all that grass off of him and turn him back into a house hippo before coming into the house. He cracks me up!

Many of you saw my reel about my car being stolen. Turns out that for the last 2 months when my car payment reminder would go off on my phone, I would turn it off because Im busy and then forget and I have not made payments for 2 months.
In my head I truly remember making the payments but my bank statements say otherwise.
Ive gotten so busy recently that I have forgotten to pay a major bill. But dont fret as I will continue to service everyone best to my ability and my husbands car. I will be calling the company and dealing with getting my vehicle back in the coming week and I might have to move my schedule around but I promise to show up for your pets on time unless I state otherwise to you directly. I appreciate everyone wanting to help and reaching out but looks like Im the 1 that sucks in this instance.
We all hate when we are wrong or make a mistake but its part of life and we just have to figure out how to fix it and avoid it happening ever again. Im embarrassed with myself but Im dedicated to fixing it

Today was busy and I absolutely loved it! Today I had 2 pet transports, 3 vacation drop in visits, 2 weekly care visits, and 1 home check in and believe it or not I still had room for 1 more on my schedule today. I didnt get pictures of everyone because I was cleaning and playing. If you would like to become apart of my day then shoot me a message or call and lets get a meet and greet scheduled and apart of my day!

Last week I got some Christmas shopping done by supporting small businesses in Southern Rustic Charm, this morning I supported the vendors at Lawton Farmers Market which is where I got this amazing ear warmer which is a necessity in my line of work plus some of the best marshmallows I have ever tasted which is handmade by Side Hustle Extracts LLC . Pictured below is the chocolate vanilla marshmellows but he makes so much!

Its really upsetting that I continue to hear people tell me that they hired a "dog sitter" to care for their furry family in their absence and it was a mistake and now they are unable to trust anyone else.
Its so hard to trust anyone but especially with your pets and when someone puts their trust in you, then dont take that for granted!
You are trusted by the pets and their owners to give them the care they need and deserve!

Show up to take them out to potty instead of letting them live in their own f***s and urine! You wouldnt want to sit in that!

If the pets tear something up, then let the owners aware and clean it up! They shouldnt have to come home from a long travel and have to clean up their pets mess since you are there!

The items that are in these homes are NOT YOURS! You have no right to take anything! They bought that food, not you! They paid for those little nic nacs or they were passed down to them, not you! That comfy blanket is theirs, not yours!

And its not ok to bring your friends and kids to these homes hoping the owner wont notice! Its not ok to ask your boy/girlfriend to go do your job for you!

BE BETTER! DO BETTER! Pets owners cant just trust anyone to come and care for their pets so when they trust and hire you, live up to all expectations plus some! Because of heartless people like you, trustworthy and professional pet sitters like me are turned down and the pets and owners no longer have trust in anyone which is heavy on their heart and worrisome!
