Attention clients:

Due to the amount of no shows we are experiencing, we have to implement a no show/cancelation policy.

Starting tomorrow, 1/23/25, we will be charging half of the appointment cost for all no shows. This will have to be paid before your next appointment, or your next appointment will be canceled. We understand that life happens. If you have an emergency the morning of your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible.

If you need to cancel an appointment, please give us at least 24 hours notice. We have a list of people waiting that would love to take your appointment.

Our operating hours are between 8:30 am to 5 pm. If you need an early drop off or you pick up late, to no fault of our own, we will charge an early/late fee of $20. We do our best to respect your time, please give us that same courtesy.

We are saddened that we have to implement these policies. We appreciate all of your continued support. 🐾

👷We want to thank everyone for being patient with the construction going on outside, we are almost finished!

💸As of January 1st, boarding prices have increased and are now $35 per night per dog. You will also see a small increase of $5-$10 in your grooming price, to reflect increased costs of products and supplies.

🐩We cannot accept any new groom clients at this time. Please be kind. We only have two groomers, who are working tirelessly, to get the clients we currently have in and on schedule.

☀️Spring breakers!!! We are running low on kennels for spring break, so make sure to make your reservations ASAP!

We require Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella to be current for all groom and boarding clients.

These 2 cuties were found this morning on the corner of 55 and Benson stopping traffic. They are safe for the day at Fur Pup Sake if you know whose pups these are please have them call 231-878-1404.

🔴To all of our clients who will be coming in and out of our building in the next few weeks. We will be having work done to the outside of our building starting Wednesday November 6th, 2024🔴

🟡Please keep your pets on a leash, watch for equipment and our lovely construction crew when dropping off or picking up your pets.

🟡 Please have patience and be kind! These guys are going to be working outside updating the outside of the building so keep your pets away from any of the area they are working and watch for debris.

🟡We will do our best at keeping debris to a minimal but if your pet must use the bathroom before coming in please use our side yard across the driveway and please clean up after your pet. There is a proper scooper and garbage can located at the front door please feel free to use it. Thank you for your patience! We are excited to be getting a fresh new look outside!

**EDIT**There is a tan and white maybe shepherd mix running around our shop since the early hours of this morning. We have not been able to catch it. We did call animal control but it is crossing the road and dodging traffic on old 131and haring road please keep a look out if your pulling into our driveway or driving that road this morning. If this is your dog it was last seen crossing onto haring road as of 6:30am!

We are currently experiencing a power outage in the building. We are working on trying to get it back on but there may be some cancelations in grooming today. We can only run so much off our generator we will get the grooms rescheduled as soon as possible if needed!

We are currently full on large kennels for Spring Break we have a few kennels left for small dogs.

🏝If you have not brought in your reeservation fee for Spring Break
$60 is due by March 11th to keep the kennels you have reserved. If its not paid by March 11th your reservation will be canceled. 🏝

✨️Please make sure your pet is up to date on distemper rabies and bordetella prior to arriving for check in if your pet is not up to date on vaccines they will not be able to stay with us. You can text a picture of the vaccine receipt to 231-878-1404 or have your vet email us directly at [email protected] ✨️

If you do need to cancel your reservation please let us know as soon as possible so we can help someone on our cancelation list!

****Update on Murphy!****

She has been missing since Monday afternoon. Last night we were finally able to catch her on cameras. She is scared and is in flight mode. If you see her PLEASE DO NOT CHASE OR CALL HER and PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO ENGAGE with her. Call Donna right away with any sightings 231-884-0152

We have used a thermal drone and a trap set and cameras in the area. We are working very hard on trying to get her home and don't want anything to scare her out of the area we have the trap in.

Murphy is still missing. She is a 5 month old golden retriever approx 37 pounds PLEASE DO NOT CHASE HER. She is skittish and will run. If you have sight on her please call Donna at 231-884- 0152 or call us at Fur Pup's Sake at 231-878-1404. She was last seen just north of our shop but we have been following her tracks all over and it seems she is hanging around by 32 rd and 30 1/2 rd by the woods. She is a fast little pup but she has to be exhausted and hungry. Please call with any sightings of her.
