ONCE AGAIN- The clinic has been closed for almost 3 months. Stop sending chewy requests, they will not be filled.

We are not transferring/copying anymore files at this time. They are packed up and we cannot access them. They will be available through 5 Stones Veterinary Services- please try to give her some time to organize before requesting records.

If you have requested copies of your records to pick up, they MUST be picked up by noon on Thursday. We have piles and piles of records people requested weeks ago which still haven’t been picked up. If they are not picked up before Thursday at noon, they will become property of 5 Stones Vet Services.

This is the LAST week we are available for record transfer. If we have already sent your records to another clinic, we will not make a second copy. If you have not contacted us before Thursday, your pet’s records will go to 5 Stones Vet Services

We are out of kennel cough vaccines- we will not be restocking them. If your pet needs a kennel cough vaccine, you will need to contact another clinic for this shot!!!!

If you have left a message about having records mailed to you, please watch your mailbox as we are sending them out as fast as we can get to them but we don’t always have time to return a call.

If you have left a message about picking up records- PLEASE REMEMBER we require 48 hour notice before pickup. We still have daily tasks and such we are trying to get through as well as making dozens of copies a day.

If you have picked your records up, we will not be sending a second copy out to the clinic of your choice so please hang on to them so your new vet has access to the records. We are continuing to have people get copies and also expect us to be sending them to other clinics. We are doing our best to get everyone what they need but we need your cooperation in order to do so in a timely manner.

PLEASE contact the veterinary clinic or service you plan to use before contacting us for records.

The other clinics need a place to store the records we are sending, if they do not have your name, your records may be lost in the chaos of the transfers.

If you are using Mayfield- please be aware they WILL NOT accept copies from the client under any circumstances- they must be transferred directly from us.

It is easier for us to transfer records to other clinics than it is for us to make copies for you, so if you know who you will be using, be sure to contact them first and then we can take care of the records are on our end.

If you are planning to keep your business with us until December 21st (vaccine appts, medications, flea/tick preventative) please do not ask for records to be immediately transferred or copied. We have a LOT of files we need to get sent, if we send it or copy it now, and you get meds or have an appointment, that requires us to make an additional copy of the newest record. We are still only 2 people trying to maintain a schedule, run business as usual and copy/transfer hundreds of files for owners.

Also, if you are transferring to Mayfield, they WILL NOT accept records from owners, they MUST be electronically transferred by us.

Little River will contact us on your behalf.

PLEASE DO NOT JUST SHOW UP FOR YOUR PET’S RECORDS!!!!

It is still only Amanda and Kimmy- we are busier than ever and many of the records are very large files which will take some time to make copies of on top of all of the tasks we already handle daily.

We are issuing one copy to yourself or the clinic of your choice- if you would like a second copy for yourself, there will be an additional charge of $10 for the first file and $1 per additional pet for the extra copy. These fees MUST be paid ahead of pickup.

It takes some time for us to be able to find the time to make copies- PLEASE give us a heads up- all records being picked up must be called in AT LEAST 48 hours in advance.

PLEASE CONTACT THE CLINIC YOU WANT TO USE BEFORE CALLING FOR RECORD TRANSFER.

If you are taking your pets to Little River- they will contact us for your records. Please call them to establish care and they will take care of the rest. You do not need to call us and ask us to send them, we have a system in place to get records transferred.

If you plan to use 5 Stones with Dr Hagar, she will
have access to your records here. Please contact her to establish care.

If you need physical copies of your pet’s records, we must have a 48 hour notice before pickup.

If you are continuing to use our services until we close- please do not ask for records to be transferred yet.

Heads up clients-

Our surgery schedule is full at this point until Dr Dewar’s retirement. We will not be booking additional surgeries unless cancellations take place.

We will no longer be doing nail trim appointments as we have many sick animals needing attention and pets that need vaccines boosted before the year end. Nail trims can be booked with local groomers. Due to lack of time during our busy days, we will not be adding nail trims as last minute requests on already booked appointments. If you have a nail trim appointment on the schedule already, we will honor that appointment.
