Hello local peeps. Please be sure to check/update your dogs parvo vax. I have heard there is a parvo outbreak here in eastern Iowa. Even adult dogs can pick up parvo if they are exposed. They can carry it with them even when not affected. Use caution in taking your dogs out in public and interacting with unknown animals. Keep puppies off the ground in public areas. Parvo can live on the ground for a very long time (6 months?)
Parvo is usually more common in southern states, but it can travel by infected dogs in transport.

So I thought this was just another ordinary day. But then Dad forgot to feed me, put me in the car and took me to the vet and LEFT ME! I took a nap and woke up like this.
Mom and Dad say it's for my own good.
All I know is I feel loopy, and sleepy. Mom said I can't jump on the couch to watch squirrels outside for two weeks and I have to wear this darn cone on my head. Please send me treats since eating is my coping strategy.

Scott in Nebraska still has 4 really nice male pups available. These are sired by our boy R***r. Mom is his dog Bailey. We have a two year old female out of Bailey and Tucker that is a real nice dog, great temperment!! 9 weeks old

Pupdate: Saddie will need a home without small children. Although she is initially sweet and calm with kids, she will also bond very quickly to her person (probably adult female) and became protective of that person. She needs an understanding family and willing to work with her. She has done well with crating overnight and potty breaks outside.

Sweet Saddie. 2 yr female
She is a pure-bred WPG with a very short coat. She's a people pleaser and calm gentle nature. She has not been hunted but does like to play with a dummy and willing to retrieve. Does well in crate for several hours or overnight. Needs to be placed soon, preferably this weekend. Can meet Saturday within 1 hour of Davenport Iowa
