Congratulations are in order for Suzy Allen and her special gelding, Heza Sparky Pl***oy, for being the RESERVE CHAMPION in the Level 1 Non Pro Bridle last weekend at the Gem State Stock Horse Association Pre-Futurity, Derby & Horse Show!

Garrett Allen was also the RESERVE CHAMPION in the Youth Boxing riding his mare, Sweet Jetta Boon!

It was Caleb Jantz who piloted Armani Exchange (Armani Cat x Smartaz Peanut) a 2020 mare owned by Allen Land & Cattle Company to a composite score of 445.5 (147.5/148/150) to be the Open and Intermediate Open Derby Champions!! They take home $4,590!

ARMANI EXCHANGE tied for 3rd in the National Stock Horse Association Intermediate Open Futurity and placed in the top 20 of the Open Futurity to win just over $8,000 for longtime clients of mine, Allen Land & Cattle.

I’m very grateful for the great people around me that support me. Thank-you to Chris Dawson, Cody Hanson, Jake Telford and Phillip Ralls for being my herd help. Thank-you to Jared Sharp at Idaho Equine, Dr. Jim Dorenkamp and farriers Scott Short and Brian Saunders for keeping my horses taken care of.

Thank-you to Jake Telford for being a mentor to me and for always being there for last minute advice on fence work day.

I’m looking forward to this mare’s career.
