JoGlenn Farms; This land was originally called Wonderland Farm by James Cameron in 1832 and in 1951 Robert Estes purchased it and the Estes' family has owned and operated it as part of Honey Locust Farm. We are grateful and look forward to an exciting new chapter. Our focus will be on breeding and raising Sport Horse with a focus on Foundation Morgans.

“Hey everyone, welcome back to ‘Conversations in a Barn.’ Today, I want to take a moment to talk about something deeply personal and heart-wrenching—the loss of our beloved horse, Cat. This vlog isn’t just about our experience; it’s about the trials and tribulations that come with caring for animals, the bond we share, and the heartbreaking decisions we sometimes have to make.

Please vaccinate your horses… ALBANY, N.Y. (August 21, 2024) - The New York State Department of Health is advising New Yorkers to take personal protective measures to avoid mosquito bites, after confirming the presence of Eastern Equine Encephalitis Virus (EEE) in horses in Saint Lawrence, Madison, Oneida, Orange, Ulster, Cayuga, Wayne, and Washington counties. EEE is transmitted from mosquito bites and there is no risk of infected horses spreading the virus to humans or other horses. There are currently no confirmed human cases in New York State.

To attract beneficial insects and repel pests, intersperse annual flowers and herbs with your vegetables. Flowers that attract natural enemies and pollinators include: cosmos, zinnias, marigolds, calendula, sweet alyssum, coneflowers, borage, and asters. Aromatic herbs such as cilantro, parsley, dill, oregano, mint, thyme, chives, sage, marigolds, and tarragon make excellent pest-repelling companions.
