The first one of Polo's babies went to her new home today ❤️ 6 more leaving within the next week!
RCP got her nest box last night and has been building, so maybe she took this time 😅
Pretty sure RavenClaw is preggers, she gets her nest box next week and already getting round 🥰

Everyone and everything is dug out!
I already shoveled the chicken runs and Pirate's run yesterday and trampled a path next to Rabbit Alley.
This morning we dug out the 2 turkey runs and rooster run as well as the big pig pen.
The neighbors were out with their big toys and cleared our driveway and made me paths to the animals ❤️

I managed to dig out Pirate and the babies, the 9 chicken runs and a path to the rabbits.
Tomorrow I have to dig out the roosters and the 2 turkey runs as well as the pigs on pasture 😐
4 to 5 foot drifts of Heart Attack Snow is no joke 🥴

Finally managed to dig my way to Pirate and the babies, unfortunately the last boy of the litter didn't make it 😞
The 5 girls are doing great and growing like weeds thank goodness ❤️

Someone advertising Ayam Cemani eggs and chicks as 'show quality' is a GIANT red flag! 🚩🚩🚩
Quality can only be fully assessed, over time, on an ADULT bird! My dad would even say you can only judge the quality of parents by their offspring.
I have hatched 'show quality' eggs from this particular person before and all had white toes and/or wingtips. Even the blurry current picture she is advertising with shows leakage in the chicks 🙄
Ask questions, ask for pics of the inside of the mouth, ask for pics of the birds with a fork or today's paper, ask for all the things!
Breeders who are proud of their programs have NO issues taking good pics and answering questions.

Cleaned pig pens today in preparation for the snow coming in over the next 2 days.
Junie is 18 months now and has been cycling fairly regularly, so today she and her little Barrow Brother Rocket joined Beau.
They've been neighbors for quite some time and other than a bit of yelling here and there they're doing well together 🥰
She should cycle again end of the month, so hopefully we'll have some mid spring babies too 😁
