My 2 pelt does finally finished molt, so I taught a little rabbit processing class this morning! 🥰
Normally I like to process them a little younger than 6 months, but I'm super impressed with the yield!
Generally they dress out at 3-4lbs at 4-5 months but they do pack on significant size in an extra 1-2 months.
They were a bit fatty, so I think 5 months is ideal processing age for Rex 😊

Our amazing neighbor Samantha gave us her ginormous Prizewinner pumpkin today ❤️
It was at least 100lbs and unfortunately I forgot to snag a pic before I broke it down to take out a bunch of seeds and feed it to the pigs. They'll be eating from it for another 2 days 🤣
She also gave us her Polarbear pumpkin, will try to remember to take pics when I break that one down 😁

Hubs and I tagged teamed chores today! He hooked up the trailer to go get straw for the pigs at the feed store, then we got some bales of hay from our awesome neighbors at Manisa Ranch Suri Alpacas.
After that we got 2 giant pumpkins for the animals and some random farm stuff at the other neighbor.
I put everything away, raked out all the pig runs and then we hauled all the manure to the pile!
