We’re here! Happy 2025! I hope this will be a great year for everyone.

I’m semi-retired. Just turned 441 dog yrs on Saturday 🐶.
There are no changes this year (as of present).

I would advise my non regular(anyone not on a 4-6-8 wk schedule) to have a back up groomer, as I may or may not be able to accommodate random call ins.
I’m scheduling one appointment out at a time this year. I’ll get everyone as close to your requested dates as possible.

UPDATE 12/23: my thumb is somewhat better. The swelling is still there and the infection seems to be a little less inflamed. Actually I can’t tell very much. It seems the two antibiotics should have the swelling about cleared up after almost a week. I’m giving it until this afternoon before I head back to ER for an IV treatment. Just to be sure.
This isn’t the first time I’ve been bitten unexpectedly. My tetanus shot is utd always, and I don’t have a weak immune system. I’ve always fought off injuries quickly(knock on wood), but this little bite is the devil 🤣

***UPDATE 12/20: it could be an MRSA infection. If I don’t see improvement in two days, it’s back to the hospital for IV antibiotics. Tough infection.

***UPDATE 12/19: unfortunately it’s worse this morning. ER doc told me to follow up with my P*P so I called and they want me there today. I asked for tomorrow to give these antibiotics another day to do their magic. I’m keeping it thoroughly wrapped and cleaned. I’ve rescheduled yesterday’s appointments but have no space whatsoever to reschedule another day off. Wish me luck 😓

***Update 12/18: I’ll be back to work in the morning 💪🏻. Everything is ok. I got a strong shot of antibiotics and the swelling should be gone shortly. Thanks everyone for your understanding today and good advise!

I may have to move my appointments for today to Saturday and Sunday. I was bitten yesterday morning and have tried everything at home but this one is sending me to the doctor if they can see me. Just waiting on 8:00 to call. If not, I’ll head to UC or ER. I’m unable to bend my thumb. Hopefully antibiotics will take the swelling out and I’ll be able to work tomorrow. If not, I can move those to Saturday and Sunday too and cram Monday in more. Sorry for the inconvenience.
