Pets Pets Pets has been operating since 1977, with John Whyte purchasing the store in November of 2022. Hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana, John first made his way into New Jersey following a technology start-up to work as a mechanical engineer. Either by luck or chance, John found himself in Califon as the new Owner-Operator of Pets Pets Pets and, driven by his passion for pet health, has hit the ground running in improving store performance and community engagement. Bigs the Frenchie, can usually be found with him behind the counter where they add a healthy dose of fun and entertainment.

We use and recommend raw frozen diets for dogs and cats, please visit us to learn more. Raw feeding or incorporating raw or freeze dried raw and bone broth into your pets food can improve nutritional value for your pet and contribute to a long life. Feeding goat milk can improve your pets’ microbiome. Food can even affect behavior, so see us for “hot” and “cold” proteins and discuss rotational feeding.

Mary, Pets Pets Pets owner, has worked in big industry, been married, mom, laid off, and reinvented her life at the store, now getting paid in puppy kisses. Her personal health struggles took her to study deep into food nutrition, food manufacturing and clean eating. Mary applies this life long learning to the choices of wholesome foods and treats offered in the store. With her science background she presses manufacturers on their quality and data behind their claims, attempting to get to the real story, and shares that information freely with customers.

Mary supports PET RESCUE AND ADOPTIONS, having adopted 10 dogs so far throughout her adult life. All had remarkably long lives. She has also owned and cared for horses and cats. She lives locally with a large senior dog, an adult small dog, and a young German Shepherd mix. Adopt a pet, they rescue you.
