Meet the Owner/Head Trainer of Brook View Stables LLC. Alison Wickenhauser grew up in Manhasset, New York where she picked up her passion of riding at the age of four. She then continued her riding all the way into college where she competed Division 1 with Sacred Heart University. She became professional after college where she developed her business of training clients and horses at the nationally ranked level. She also specializes in sales of hunter, jumper and equitation horses. Alison continues her career in aiding riders to improve their riding of all levels and helping achieve each riders goals.

Brook View is located in Calverton NY out of Derby Hill Farm. Many amenities are provided including regular and full service board. We have a large indoor and outdoor riding arena with wonderful footing dragged daily. The care is impeccable, quality hay 24/7, feeding 2x a day, and different turnout options that can accommodate any horse. Brook View offers lessons, leasing, sales/consignment and showing opportunities to local and national shows. A new year means a new string of sale/lesson horse and wonderful lesson opportunities with Brook View! We have many different lesson packages available and offering lessons of all levels from beginner to advanced. TAFFY: Where are my chunky stocky QH lovers? 11yr old 15h qh mare, no papers. Beginner friendly English/Western background and loves trails. Can go out alone or in a group. Nice easy wtc great transitions just a good overall mare. Has done smalls jumps. Good for kiddos or timid riders. Also a great option for a husband horse. No hormones simple to live with VERY easy keeper. Front shoes on and barefoot behind. 10k, located in Medford, NY.

CONFETTI: 6yr old 15.1h paint mare not reg. This is a really special mare. She has a heart of gold and a personality one can only dream of. She’s so personable and really gets you with how sweet she is. Wtc jumps 2’3 quiet and kick ride. Snaffle mouth bends and frames up very educated. Can’t say enough good things about this one. And her color is stunning alone. Shoes up front no maitenance will easily pass a ppe very sound and very easy to live with. Great beginner family horse, wonderful confidence builder. Here’s what I have! All a great group of horses/ponies!

ARROW: 12yr old 15.2h qh gelding. This horse knows his stuff. Can ride him on a loose rein with no hands (have video) or have him take the bit and give you a nice frame. The comfiest, quietest canter. Beginner approved and would put anyone on this horse. Lead changes clean and easy! Jumps around 2-2’3 with room to spare. Loves jumping. Will also go around and trail ride. Wonderful ground manners. Shod up front only no maintenance health issues or vices. Low fives.

PUMPKIN SPICE: Double registered aqha/apha mare. 7yr old 15.3h wtc jumps 2’3-2’6. Has changes when asked not yet auto. Rides English or western, been on trails rides in roads through water alone or with others. Super safe can put your nervous kid/adult on and they throw away the reins and she’ll take care of you. Will do the beginner job. Easy for vet farrier loading great ground manners. No maintenance, no hormones and only shod up front. Lowest fives.

MILKYWAY: 7yr old 14.1h large paint pony gelding. Super easy and quiet on the ground and under saddle. Goes both English and western. Wtc jumps 2’ currently, will make a good addition to family or lesson program. Will do any job you ask. Has also done trails and doesn’t bat an eye. Just a good all around pony. High fours.

INTELLIGENT V: 10yr old 17h KWPN gelding. Miles and top ribbons in all three rings. Great three ring 3’ horse. Great resume and very pretty to look at. A pleasure to have in the barn. Great ride for any junior or amateur. Auto everything will always jump. Minimal prep at shows. Low fives low mid fives option. Located in Medford, NY.
