Ophelia has been at Kent Animal Shelter for 5 years now. Before that she was in a shelter in Thailand after being saved from the dog meat trade. She is now 7 years old. Ophelia is very leary of strangers. If she knows you, she will be your best buddy. She also is dog selective so a home where she is the only pet is the optimal situation. Isn't there anyone out there that would like to give Ophelia a chance in a happy home that she so deserves? The foster or adopter would ideally be able to visit her at the shelter so that she could become acclimated to you several times. At this point, a comfy bed inside a loving home with someone to take long walks with would be an amazing gift. Someone who needs a loyal companion. The next 5 years of her life would be so much better than living in a kennel. She deserves a chance.

Catastrophe is a 1 1/2 year old male kitty rescued from a high kill shelter. He can be a little shy, but enjoys exploring the cattery and taking cat naps in the cat trees and cubbies. He is friendly with everyone, human and feline!

Sweet little Polly and her siblings are patiently waiting to be adopted! Come meet them today - we are open until 4pm! 🤩

🤎🐕 Everyone say hello to Ron! 🐕🤎 Ron is the brown pup in this clip. He is only 8 months old and a hound mix. He was recently rescued from Georgia. He can be shy with people at first but comes out of his shell when he’s with other dogs.
