We offer full care board at our private barn located in Calvin, WV. The farm is conveniently located 10 minutes out of Summersville.

SERVICES & AMENITIES:

• Orchard/Timothy hay twice daily (along with owner-provided supplements or medications)

• Grain twice daily

• Daily small turnout and big pasture turnout 2x weekly (weather dependent)

• Blanket changes (weather dependent)

• Hot/cold bathing

• Access to tack room/locker

• 12’ x 12’ matted stalls are cleaned daily

• 120 x 80 sand riding arena

Many have requested a cheaper alternative to horse camp so we are going to offer a shorter camp. It will be $75 for 3 hours. They will learn all the important things and have a ton of fun! These spots will fill quickly so reserve your spot by messaging me. There are limited spots!

We all want our horses performing and feeling their best! Even our horses that aren’t under work deserve to feel good. Did you know most of us are feeding our horses tons and tons of inflammatory causing ingredients?! Below is just a list of examples of inflammatory causing ingredients that are common in most grains ⬇️

❌Grains(Oats,Rye, Grain, Corn, Barley, Wheat)
❌Grain Bye Products( Rice Hulls, Corn Gluten Meal, Distillers Dried Grains, Distillers Grains, Wheat Middlings, Oat Hulls, Roughage Products, Wheat Millrun)
❌ Soybean, Plant Protein Products, Soybean Hulls, Soy Lecithin, Extruded Whole Soybeans, Soybean Meal, Soybean Oil
❌ Seed Oils(Canola, Canola Meal, Rapeseed Meal, Rapeseed Oils, Soy Oil, Vegetable Oil, Rice Bran Oil)
❌Sugar/Starch(Molasses, Cane Molasses, Molasses, Glucose)

All of the above play a major role in the development and worsening of horses' health issues, such as:

Digestive troubles like ulcers (including hindgut),Colic, Metabolic Issues, Insulin Resistance, Cushings, Tying Up, Slow recovery/chronic soreness Chronic lameness,Behavioral Issues (saneness) Hormonal Imbalances, Immune system compromise Allergies/Hives, Parasitic Infection Laminitis/Founder, Coat, Hoof, Hair color and quality

Do not feed these to your horse 🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️

So when selecting a feed these are the things to check off the list & Dove Feed is just the feed for you!

✅You want to choose a feed free of inflammatory causing ingredients like listed above to avoid havoc on your horses health.

✅You want to pick a feed that has minerals/vitamins in a bioavailable form that horses can digest and absorb.

✅ You also want to choose a low NSC to avoid the digestive nightmare. Staying below 10% is a good rule of thumb.

✅ Make sure to check your alfalfa pellets and cubes as well- Dove is CLEAN 🧼

I have posted a comparison, just of the most common used feeds in our area. As you can see, you wont regret switching to Dove feed and your horse will thank you 🫶🏻🙏🏻

Our Dove shipment is in! Message me to make the switch now. Everybody in our area ia switching to it for a reason. I beought in into my program and to sell because I believe in if. I don’t stand by what I dont believe in myself. I promise whatever you’re feeding doesnt compare- it is the best! I will do a free feed comparison for you, just message me!

Saylor update!!

Shes doing great with the c**t breaker in FL! Shari Winston is so awesome at what she does and as you can tell, she not only trains them but loves them too 🫶🏻 I extra thankful she took this c**t on! Saylor was a challenge in the beginning but hey, they say those are the good ones 😝 Seriously though, even though she was a tough one, Shari didnt give up on her and she has her loping collected and correct both directions, great stop, hauling to arenas, and starting the barrel pattern. We are sooo thankful for her and love getting these updates!

Some of our favorite runs of Hank! We got him as a young horse with 30 days on the pattern and finished him out. We really had no business doing so, thankfully he was easy! He has been through several injuries, a surgery, stem cell, and he still lays his heart out there every single run. Hes so special to us and the best boy boy 🫶🏻

Here is a Fendi update! We are so proud of her and excited for her future. We are also sooo thankful Shari Winston with Four Crow Farm did such an amazing job. Not only does she put a lot of buttons on them but she also exposes them and gets them really confident. Shout out to Ashley Hunt for getting us hooked up with her!
