At CCR we strive to make your pups stay like the best vacation ever, every single stay! We have no minimum stay requirements, we offer daycare, and off-leash dog park. Let us know and during any daycare or boarding stay, your dog can receive spa treatment. When you pick your pup up their tail will be waggin' and you'll be braggin' about their paw-some look! Here at CCR we strive to be at the head

of the pack! Curious about what sets us apart from the rest? Put your pup in the car and visit our 10 park like acres. Come for a tour, and a romp in the acre dog park (please bring vaccination records). You and your dog will see what make us at CCR so unique, and your pup will be begging to come back. Camano Canine Resort(CCR) is located on the southern end of Camano Island, on the former site of Clouds Canine. Run by Susan Cole, Charles Rushton & Bree Butner, CCR offers the finest accommodations in the area for our canine guests. With standard and deluxe suites there is plenty of room for your dog, in addition, dogs from the same family are even welcome to share a suite in most cases. A spacious one and a half acre securely fenced dog park offers plenty of room for even the most active dogs to stretch their legs! Four additional large exercise runs add even more fun. Currently we are without power like most around us! No eta for when it will come back on. This means no phones or internet for updates. We are still up and running as usual! Dogs are still loved warm and going out as normal! We will update as soon as we can!

🐾 Introducing Wandering Rover 🐾

We are so excited to announce the launch of our new program, Wandering Rover!

Wandering Rover launches on Wednesday, July 17th and was created to give our dogs a break from the shelter and to help give them more visibility in the community. A shelter pup can be checked out for the day and taken for a walk, a hike, to a dog-friendly restaurant or for a pup-cup at a cafe! These outings will allow the dog to 'advertise' themselves while also providing valuable insight to shelter staff on how they interact in a public setting.

Wandering Rover is available Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 10am starting Wednesday, July 17th. We welcome you to learn more and participate!

🖤 Surgery fund for Malibu! 🖤

DONATIONS SAVE LIVES

Malibu is a young chihuahua who arrived at CASA from another shelter. She was in need of some TLC. She was shy, underweight, and fighting a bladder infection. Despite her loving foster moms' best efforts, Malibu only seemed to be getting worse. She was promptly taken into the vet for a more Indepth work up. Turns out this little lady is suffering from a liver shunt. CASA is raising funds to cover diagnostic, surgery, and recovery costs for this amazing little dog. She is sweet, loving, and very young. With surgery we hope to give her the best possible start to her new life. Malibu is scheduled for a pre surgery CT today and surgery to follow at a later date. Total cost of care is estimated to be around $9,000.00 Anything helps! Malibu and CASA appreciate your ongoing support.

Every year CASA gives homeless pets like Malibu a second chance at a happy and healthy life.

Updates will be provided here as we follow Malibu through this process.

Dear community we are in search of a value member of the CCR family. We have created a place of respect and sense of belonging, due to most of us being Washington implants! What we are looking for is a like minded individual.

* Passion for dogs!( potential to learn to groom with hands on training)

* Self motivated/hardworking individual in a fast pace environment

* Dependable and on time

* Flexible (as we all try to cover for each other for much needed family time or vacation)

* Honest and a positive attitude is a must

* With attention to detail

We do pay minimum wage with option (bathing dogs) to supplement hourly income! We will teach on the job. No special schooling needed! Come out apply email or give us a call! Looking forward to hearing from you!!
