ANNOUNCEMENT:
I'm sorry to announce that Nana's will be closed until further notice. I have developed severe arthritis in my right thumb, wrist & shoulder, preventing me to do much grooming on a regular basis. I will be grooming my own 3 dogs, but will probably have to go back to taking 2 days to groom 1 dog, like I used to do. I will miss you all!! 😢

Welcome back Sparky!! Sparky comes to be groomed about every 3 months & is a sweetheart. His coat gets pretty thick & overgrown, but he is easy to groom, which helps. He became a daddy in October of 5 very precious babies. They are adorable & one looks just like him!! 🥰

Our Shuchon Evee was way overdue for a groom. I have just been to busy to get her in, but took time today. I keep up with brushing, so she wasn't matted, she just had a LOT of hair!! She is the best behaved little girl & let's me do whatever I want. Next time, I'm thinking of dying her ears & tail purple!! 💜💜

I just got the unfortunate news that Gertie has just crossed over to Rainbow Bridge! This is a pic of when she was last groomed. I will miss you, sweet Gertie. I know that grooming was hard for you. The older you got, you became more uncomfortable, so we had to go slow & easy! Please know that you were very loved, as I see all of my little furry sweethearts as family. Fly high sweet Gert! No more pain... no more struggles!! 😢💔🌈

Meet Gizmo, 3 yr old Shihzu. He has never been groomed before! His new mama tried to shave his mats, but couldn't touch his face or feet because of him biting & fighting her. She asked if I could help & I told her that I would absolutely try. It was a challenge, to say the least. He was actually good for his feet, but terrified of the bath & of scissors around his face. He (and I) will sleep good tonight! Isn't he beautiful?? 💞

This is one of our Shuchons, Ace. Ace is 10 yrs old & has always hated to be groomed. After his nails, ears, sanitary & bath. He bit me after the blow-dry yesterday. It broke the skin & also a vein. I'm okay now, but with a dog I own or not, I won't put up with an aggressive dog! I stopped the groom & left it for today. He still wanted nothing to do with it, so using a muzzle, & restraints that connect to my table, I finished him as well as I could under the circumstances. As with any aggression, I will follow my own advice to the owner & will have him checked out by the vet, & then see if I can sedate him for the next time I groom him. It's been a very intense 2 days. He's never been this bad. I'm hoping that nothing is wrong with him. 😢♥️

I guess there is a rumor going around that I am closing up shop! I have some grooming equipment for sale on the local garage sale pages, but its because I have upgraded. Check out the Douglas County, Camargo, Tuscola & Villa Grove pages if you are interested, or know of someone who might be, do a search for Cindy Crawford to find them. Meanwhile, I have been taking a break, as I have had some painful days, but am by no means done. I am not a full time groomer, due to health issues, but let me know if your small furbaby needs groomed. I'd be more than happy to make the time!! 😍

Welcome back Remi!! Remi is a sweet girl that I have groomed most of her life. She is so good for me! She is so laid back, that she likes to lay down most of the time, which makes it hard to groom her legs & tummy!! LOL

Daisy is a very sweet girl. She hasn't been in for a few months, so she was really overgrown. She is so calm, that she constantly wanted to lay down. Its a little hard to get the legs & underside of her body in that position, so I had to put a noose on both ends!! 🤣🤣🤣

Welcome back Remy!! I get excited when he comes because he is so much like my late Penny. 🥰 Remy's mom hasn't brought him for a couple of months because she is trying to let his hair grow out. She has bathed him, but boy... his toenails were daggers! Not fond of getting his paws trimmed & toenails clipped, I held him up close to me. This sweet boy likes to be sang to!! 😊🎶

This is our sweet Evee. I had such a busy month, that she ended up getting pretty scruffy by the time I got around to grooming her. She is so sweet & is a little angel on the grooming table. I left her coat & ears a little longer this time!! 😍

Welcome back Poppy! I have seen Poppy every 5 - 6 weeks since 2021. She is a sweet girl & is a rescue. She doesn't like sudden movement, so I have to move slow & talk to her slow & calm. Sometimes I sing. She likes that!! 🎶
