So, what sorts of things will be at Purrmaid’s night market this Friday from 4-9? Well, we’ll have cat-themed

T shirts and other clothing

Food and water dishes
Art

We’ll also have available 1/2 hour visits with the kitties for $6 per person (must be 7 or older). Since space is limited, you’ll want to make reservations in advance by calling 805-419-6116.

Here they are, this week’s naughty and nice cats. Nice cat of the week is Milo, who like most of us in the waning days before Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and the new year is just trying to keep his head above water. We feel ya, big guy. Hang in there. 🥹 Naughty cat of the week is Rose, who has been shirking her supervisory duties so that she has more time to flirt with the male cats. Her meet-me-under-the-mistletoe manner is becoming downright embarrassing. Let’s keep it rated G, ma’am. 😳

Graduate Luca (formerly Sawyer) checked in today! His mom Stephani wrote, “Luca loves to explore outside in our enclosed yard. We have one acre of land that is his kingdom. One of the best things about this time of year is having our graduates check in with updates. Stewie and his mom Scarlet are doing great in their forever home. Their mom Heather told us, “Stewie continues to be curious and into everything. Scarlet is sweet as ever. All three cats are comfortable together and will occasionally play. Stewie and Junie will sometimes sleep together. First time last week all three kitties in the favorite window spot.  Stewie has been working on his modeling career and is always up for a photo shoot.” Such a fantastic update! Happy holidays, babies! We love you. ❤️❤️❤️

Remember the guy at the shelter in San Jose who urgently needs a rescue to pull him and get him some major dental work done? Well, we couldn’t get him off our minds. We contacted the shelter and have made arrangements to drive up Friday and pull him. We’re closing the cafe Friday since we’ll be out of pocket most of the day, but we will be back to regular hours Saturday. Start packing your bags, Mango. We’re coming to get you, buddy. 🧡🧡🧡

Lilith Update: Lily’s latest lab results show that she is making red blood cells— hooray! We are now slowly weaning her off prednisolone, which was prescribed to help boost red blood cell production. We’ll run another CBC in a few weeks to ensure she is still making an adequate number of red blood cells without it. We have noticed that she is a bit wobbly, something we may need to address once we have her anemia sorted out. For now, she is having a blast running around our bedroom and playing with our other cats. Go, Lily, go! ❤️ #felineanemia #lilith #prednisolone #fighter

Unfortunately, some arrangements for homes fell through, so she’s scrambling to find homes for three girls and a boy. They’ll be ready around August 20th.
