Flying High Pet Resort is "Where All Dogs & Cats Fly First Class". In 2008, I opened Flying High with the goal in being a place where we could make a difference in the lives of animals. We are not your normal doggie daycare, grooming and boarding facility. We strive to make your pet so comfortable and happy that our place becomes an extension of their home. You and your pet are not just a number t
o us; you and your pet are part of our family. We take pride that we became a family owned Business in 2011. It has allowed us to be even more giving to our pet families. In order to further fulfill our mission of improving the lives of animals, we also help dogs rescued from the local Camarillo shelter by helping Rescue groups feed, house and care for them. We do not charge the rescue group any fees. We just love being able to help them. It is amazing to see how they blossom mentally and physically when they realize that someone loves them. We donate sweater, food, blankets and help with vet bills for Buddy Nation homeless Pitbulls in Ventura County. We just love helping pets and humans in need. In late May of 2013, my landlord informed me that we would need to move out of our building on Dawson Drive so that he could use the space for other purposes. The news was completely unexpected and we didn't have enough money to move so our customers started the 'Save Flying High Pet Resort' campaign. With the help of the community and many great friends, we were able to raise over $13K for the city permit, the new lease and the moving expenses. We continue to be humbled by their efforts and will be forever grateful. Now that we're in our new location on 2255 Pleasant Valley we continue to give back to our Community and love all the dogs & cats left in our care.
