This is an update and a plea for Uno. Many of you will remember UNO. The pictures below are from Christmas last year, as a baby and a teenager. He will be 3 years old at the end of this month.
When he was dropped off in December 2021 he was 3 months old and very very sick. He had surgery to fix his liver shunt (that was not successful) and is on medication and special food for life. (his life expectancy is 5-7 years) Uno has been with his Foster family all of his life but its changing now because they are moving to Kansas and are not able to take him. He came back to the rescue but did not do well. Shepherds are notorious for "losing their noodle" in shelter environments, Uno was no exception. He was returned the first week of August and in just a cpl of months became agitated, and acted out with the other dogs. We are pleading for someone to step up and take this boy in as a foster. It costs around 500.00 per month to keep him alive the rescue, his foster mom and others that have been helping us with these expenses will continue. He can't have any treats or food that is not his own and takes meds daily. We know this is a big ASK. We are hoping there is someone out there that could take him in. NO other dogs, animals or small children.
Text Amy 360.513.8887 if you are interested. PLEASE share!!! There just might be someone out there that would be willing to love and care for him.
FYI.. His foster mom came and got him but it temporary.
There are around 8,000 ppl that follow Mostly Mutts please, please share loyal fans of dog rescue.

PLEASE READ!!!! MOSTLY MUTTS HAS FALLEN VICTUM TO FRAUD.
Here is what we know right now: Our mostlymutts email was hacked it has totally disappeared from our computer so no contact list. Once they got into our email they changed the PW from there they got into our bank account and withdrew all but 200.00 out of our account. When the bank sent a notification to the mostlymutts email with a code to verify it was us making the withdrawal...yup we didn't get it because our email account was stolen. The PayPal account is secure for those of you that make donations, there is some money in there as we don't transfer each time there is a donation but once a month. We are soooo grateful. The bank account is closed. We are in serious trouble such as paying our bills on Oct 1st, paying for medicines etc. You get the idea. We will follow up with a new email and further information. Be very careful, change your passwords get your accounts encrypted!
We are so saddened by this.
Blessings to all, Amy and Linda

Meet Penny and Pinky. There is a big story behind these 2 girls.
They were in a shelter in Bakersfield, CA with their mom and 6 other siblings. Amy rescued them all!! The owner was found and didn't want them so they were surrendered to the shelter. All of the babies were covered with sarcoptic mange as you can see in the before and after pictures. Penny is 9 months old and Pinky is 5 months old. They have the same mom and they are very much bonded because of the horrendous living conditions, then on the street picked up by animal control then to us. We realize the odds are small that they could be adopted together but wanted to tell their story. They are pit mixes, very shy and will need enormous love and patience. PLEASE SHARE THIS POST
Please text Amy for further information 360.513.8887
Shout out to Amy, Sylvia, Lori, TJ and Rebecca for all the time, money and commitment it took to save the mom and all her babies.
