I was born in a tropical country where snow was something I only saw in movies, and I never imagined it would become part of my life. I grew up surrounded by sunshine, water, and warmth, but life brought me to Vermont—a place I never thought I’d call home and now, I can truly say, I love Vermont 💚

Now, every winter amazes me with its beauty and gifts me experiences I never dreamed of having.

Sharing these snowy landscapes with my huskies has taught me to embrace the unexpected and find joy in the unknown. From swimming in cold waters to running through snow-covered trails with my dogs, I’ve learned that life is a journey full of surprises, transforming us and connecting us with our true selves.

Mark your calendar!

Highgate Library & Community Center will be hosting its annual Winter Carnival and you are invited. Join us on Saturday, February 8th from 10 AM - 12 PM at the library. We will be joined by the Siber Sled Dog team and offering bonfires with s’mores, a story time, and loads of fun winter activities outside and inside the library.
