Good sunny chocolate morning to all of you! Such a true gentlemen, letting his ladies eat first 🤎🤎🤎🤎 (I do not normally put their feed on the ground, this was overflow that fell out of their feeder )

My pics never do these guys justice. They are drop dead gorgeous, I must say so myself. Full, thick, round bottoms, with perfect type 😍😍😍

I stalk this pen daily as well!! Waiting and waiting and waiting for eggs..

Charlie and his angels say hello! Pretty blue creams..

Charlie doesn’t understand my stalking his pen. He thinks I’m just there to hand out treats , I mean I am, but NO Charlie, I need babies!! Gimme all them babies. Checking fertility every day. We are not there yet folks.. thinking spring . Cmon spring .. hurry up!!

You guys.. this is my client , friend, fellow chicken breeder, AND one of the best chicken mamas around. You remember how much I loved (love) Herman, my Malaysian serama, and had placed him in another home before my move? Well.. I was very selective where he went, and I chose Amber with The Charleston Chick, and Herman is living his BEST life. I was blessed to be able to receive her and his photo shoot pics tonight and I must share them with you! Love love love is an understatement! Look at this boy, and beautiful Amber ♥️ Super cute and super funny! Thank you for sharing!

Welcome, Victoria. A new cuckoo lady entering the program. I lost two cuckoo ladies this week and was devastated, so I am very relieved and excited to be able to have this pretty girl join me soon. Thank you Brier Hill Cottage.

Hello good people! Happy New Year!

Again, I apologize for my absence. Unfortunately, 5 nights ago, I fell on ice on my steps and broke my back in two spots. L1 & L2, as well as permanently damaging my 4 & 5. Needless to say, I'm in pain. I'm on bedrest for 4-6 weeks and then start therapy. I have a wonderful church community that has been helping me with chores around the house. HOWEVER, nothing will stop me or take me away from Sunflower Silkies and Seramas. I'm here to give you an update!

PAINT pen, is here and thriving, and laying. I just started putting their eggs in the incubator to test fertility and get a look at offspring. If all looks well then I will be able to offer chicks and/or eggs as soon as February!

CUCKOO pen, I'm obsessed with and have beautiful birds in there but they are simply too young. They should be available early summer.

BLUE CREAM pen will be arriving this week so I need to quarantine and test hatch first. I'm thinking early spring for them!

CHOCOLATE pen, my oh my. I'm SO proud of them. There are a couple of show winners in there, and they are active now, so I can take people on the waitlist and/or start getting back to you guys here in the next few weeks to discuss transactions.

MOTTLED is sprinkled in and too young yet. Summer for them.

SERAMAS, my poor seramas. They hate this weather and aren't doing anything except hang around and be miserable and wait for the glorious warmth to arrive, just like me! They will be going in the spring though...
