Vincent and Momma got adopted together yesterday! Both are extremely sweet cats, and will be loved very much. We will miss them, but wish them the best in their new lives!

Bink, one of the rescue cats, had to be rushed to the vet Sunday morning because he couldn't walk. Dr Hill at Guernsey Veterinary Clinic discovered he had thrown a blood clot (common in older cats, he was over 12 years old). There is nothing to do when that happens, so Bink had to be euthanized. Bink was a very sweet cat, and will be greatly missed. If anyone wants to help with the bill for Bink, or what's left for Max, you can call the vet clinic and make a payment. Their number is 74-0432-5980. Here are a few pictures of Bink.

We are in need of dry cat food at the rescue. Anything works, except 9 Lives, as it causes them to throw up. Anything helps, even if you have opened bags your kitties wouldn't eat.

It is with great sadness that I am reporting that Max passed away today. He got better for a few days, then took a sudden turn today. I rushed him back in, and his throat was closed up again. Unfortunately it turns out he did have cancer, and there wasn't anything else that could be done for him. Max will be greatly missed.

Sorry I haven't updated recently. I'm fighting a concussion, so I haven't been feeling well. Max is doing MUCH better. He's breathing is almost normal, the lump in his throat has gone down a lot, and he is eating, drinking, using the litter box. He has been very loving towards us, like he is thanking us for helping him. He still has several days of meds left. A HUGE THANK YOU to Guernsey Veterinary Clinic for seeing him on an emergency, and to Dr Nikki Freshwater for taking excellent care of Max while he was there. Thank you to everyone that has donated towards the vet bill, and to those that have sent food and litter. We could not do this without you all. You guys are our heros! Love you all!

We are at Guernsey Veterinary Clinic with Max right now. He has a mass in his throat, and they took a sample to see if it's infection or cancer. Please pray! If anyone is able to help, you can call Guernsey directly to donate. Thank you!

UPDATE
Max has an appointment scheduled for tomorrow at 3:20pm, and I'm waiting to hear back about an emergency appointment for today. You can call and donate directly to the Guernsey Veterinary Clinic.

I have an urgent request. Max, one of the rescue cats, is suddenly very sick. He is having trouble breathing, and is open mouth breathing. There are no local vets open this late, and I don't have the money for an emergency visit in Columbus. Can anyone please help tomorrow with a vet visit? His stomach is sucking in from breathing so hard. A breathing treatment has not helped. His throat feels swollen. He needs to be seen tomorrow, but I need help. You can pay the vet directly. I will be calling Guernsey Vet first thing in the morning.

I've had a few people ask about things we need, and ask about our wish list, so here is our Amazon wish list. Most of these items can be purchased through Chewy also. Chewy is amazing! We ALWAYS need food and litter. We go through 32 pounds of dry food every 3 days at the rescue. We use dry and canned food both (we have a few cats with no teeth).
