In 2023 our rescue unfortunately had kittens diagnosed with this awful disease. Paige and I were emotionally devastated. We each went through the emotional roller coaster of treatment and are so grateful, proud and happy to say we each have our very own FIP Warriors!

We know how hard it is to not only just simply rescue and care for the cats/kittens that come into any rescue's care, so we wanted to shed a little light onto our rescues that work even HARDER to save the cats/kittens that require SO MUCH more care/treatment.

Maddy's Cat Rescue (board member- Maddy, Paige & Hallie) have worked hard to hand sew 400 individual catnip toys to sell, and raise funding for those rescues that work hard to save the FIP Cats of the world!

We are donating 100% of the proceeds from the sale of these cat toys to milothebravest a 501c3 Non Profit Cat Rescue - Specializing in FIP & Other Challenging Medical Conditions ($1000 if all sell) and to Zen By Cat a 501c3 Non Profit Organization dedicated to bringing awareness and funding to find a CURE for FIP ($1000 if all sell).

Little Rose went off to her forever home Thursday! She was an instant biscuit maker, full of purrs and so happy to be in a real home🥺❤️ Rose will be bffs with her new sister, Toast who was adopted out from us 2 years ago!!! 🥰

I graduated from the Mid-East Vet Assisting and Animal Care program in 2020! I am so grateful for the experience and friendships I gained from this program. Mrs. Kelly goes above and beyond for her students.

Today, the Vet Assisting Juniors & Seniors came to take a tour of the rescue and shop in Black Cat Vintage! 🐈‍⬛
I’m so happy I can show these young individuals that you can truly do anything you set your mind to! You can make a difference no matter how young you are.

This is the second year we have planned this field trip and I look forward to doing in all the next years to come! ❤️

A DEEP cleaning day! 🧼🫧🧹

We have had over 250 cats in and out of the rescue this year so we are in definite need of a cleaning! We also have some special guest coming to take a tour of the rescue tomorrow! 😊

Scratch & Sniffy say hello! ✨🥰❄️

It’s been awhile since I updated you all on them! Yes, they now have names!
This sibling pair came to us in September. Sick, infected eyes, fleas, the usual. They have been growing up with us over the past 2 months.

Sniffy took a lot of socializing! He was terrified of us at first. His poor little eyes are damages from how sick he was as a tiny baby. In my experience eyes are the first to really get affected when kittens have severe upper respiratory infections. Eyedrops can only do so much when they are as bad as little Sniffy’s. He gets around just fine and is really starting to become more comfortable with us!
His sister, Scratch is a wild girl! Spunky and playful but always by her brothers side. 🥹

We have both scheduled for spay/neuter and to have Sniffy’s eyes evaluated!
They are the sweetest pair of cats! ❤️

Celebrate the season of giving by helping kitties in need! ✨🎄❤️
Maddy’s Cat Rescue is a 501c3 Nonprofit Cat Rescue, meaning we only run in donations from the public!

For the month of December we will have a donation box set up by the tree at Black Cat Vintage! 🐈‍⬛🎁
We are currently in need of Dry kitten food and paper litter!
Toys are always appreciated and if you can’t donate even just dropping off a Christmas card would be awesome! 🎅🥰
