Hi, my name is Peaches 🍑 and I'm 3 years old. I've been at the shelter for almost 2 years. I adore people, I always want attention. I live with my shelter family, but I would prefer to be the only cat in my forever home just so I can get all the attention I want! Hi, my name is Desi and I'm almost 9 years old. I've been at the shelter for 17 weeks. My Mommie is elderly and couldn't take care of me anymore because she needed someone to care for her. I'm really nervous here and I'm very shy & scared. My caregivers here are nice and they take WONDERFUL care of me. I would make a great companion for someone who understands that I will need a little extra patience and some time to adjust. I'm currently relaxing in the Zen room, please come visit me! Hi, my name is Maya and I'm 16 weeks old! I've been at the shelter for 12 weeks. I came with my mom and my siblings. They have all been adopted but I'm still waiting for my Furever. I'm looking for someone who meets my personality! I'm super playful, I love to sit on your shoulder and snuggle and my caregivers tell me I have a loud purr that just melts your heart ❤️ I'm currently a house cat with some adults and I get along with them just fine. Happy Update ❤️❤️
Our beautiful Gidget is loving life. When Ms. Maske came to adopt a kitty, there was no doubt that Gidget decided it was going to be her!!! Gidget picked her new Mama and, as you can see, they are very happy together. Her family says, "they are the best match for each other."

Sometimes, when folks come to adopt a kitty, the kitty chooses them. Purrfect choice, Gidget. Happy Tails sweet girl ❤️❤️❤️

Hi, my name is Patches! I'm almost 2 yrs old and I've been at the shelter for 10 months. I came with my sister, but she was adopted by some really nice people. I'm still waiting for my Furever. Could you be my person?? 🥰😻 At the shelter I'm a house cat with 5 others. It's pretty cool. 😎 I get to chill on the cat tree in the lobby and sunbathe all day and even greet people when they come in! But, I'd love to have a family of my own. I wear a pretty bow collar that makes my fur pop and I know I'm beautiful because my caregivers tell me all the time! I'm good with other cats of all ages but I'm good being alone, too! Come visit me and let's be friends!!

‼️Cuteness Overload ‼️Meet Ms. Brody. She's the sweetest 7️⃣ year old lady you will ever get to snuggle 🤗. She is a Baywater alumni who was surrendered due to a relationship split. 😢Sadly, it ended with her coming back to us. She walks great on a leash, loves to play dress up, and is potty trained. She's great with other dogs 🐕 and cats 🐈‍⬛. She is timid at first, but warms up quickly. She begs for attention and we want her to go to a home that will give her all the 💙 and attention she deserves. She is a total sweetheart 🥰

Hi everyone, I'm Bailey!!! I'm 7 years old and, sadly, I've found myself in a shelter 😢. I'm not sure why exactly because everyone says that I'm the "best girl". I love to take walks and I'm very good on a leash. I'm house broken, kennel trained and I'm told that I listen well. I just love to make my humans happy 😊 and....I love kisses ❤️. I'm not very good with other dogs so I need to be your one and only. I know that I'm older but I still have a lot of good years ahead of me and I have a LOT of love to give. The first photo, we know, you all remember well. That's Della and that sweet face was on missing posters all over the internet and all around the County. She went missing in early June and, thanks to our wonderful community and our dedicated staff, she was found safe a week later. She traveled quite a distance, through woods and fields, but she survived and immediately went home to her new Mommy Millie Stiles Robbins. The next 3 photos are of her, now named Maggie, happy and safe in her Forever Home. Everyone pulled together that week searching, worrying, spreading the word, and praying. Thank you, each and every one of you, for supporting Baywater Animal Rescue and creating Happy Endings like this one.

He's a great snuggler with his sis. Loves cats 🐈‍⬛,dogs🐕‍🦺and kids 🧒 . He's been super easy to train and aims to please. He's 9️⃣ months old, 5️⃣4️⃣ pounds of love and puppy kisses. 😘

Each of these beautiful ladies have found themselves in a shelter in their adult/senior years. Many circumstances have contributed to this, most through no fault of their own. We would love for our girls to find their Forevers and not have to spend another day in a shelter. Adult dogs can bring so much love, appreciation and joy to any family. They just need another chance. Maybe your family can give them that.

We all know that animals can heal our broken hearts. What we don't always remember is, sometimes we heal theirs as well. Our "Frost", now named "Athena", is the perfect example. She is helping to heal the hearts of her new Mama Jennifer Light and her new doggie sister "Journey". But, based on this picture, it looks like "Athena" is soaking up her new life, forgetting the hard times she went through before being rescued. We think her heart is healed, also. This picture is pure joy .

Those of us that work in Rescue sometimes have tough days. There are days when we feel our hearts break a little. But, we look into the faces of our Rescues and we look at pictures like this one, and we heal.

And, thanks to all of you who support Baywater Animal Rescue , we keep going. ❤️
