Last Call for Pre-Entries for the Sept 7th show.

Only two days left before the last show of the season. I will be sitting today and putting in entries, so would love to get everything entered by 9 p.m tonight, 9/5/25. If you are planning to show this Sunday, please take a minute today to send me your pre-entry form. It would be greatly appreciated, and oh so helpful:)

Feel free to email me at [email protected] with your form, or message me a picture of your entry form. If you have an entry form from a past show, you can recycle that form, if that is easiest.

As always, there is no monetary obligation to pre-entering. We are just looking to speed the entry process along on show day, so having your information ahead of time is key, vs waiting to register the day of the show.

By the way.....So far we have 30 pre-entries!! Our new record!! It's going to be a wonderful show and we hope to see you all there for one last horse show hoorah!

Horse show news!

Just a heads up, we will be running our LEAD LINE class after the specialty class and BEfORE the 15 minute morning break. So, classes 1-8 will run in the main ring, as usual. THEN, we will move to the west ring to run the In-hand trail/SMS specialty class (8A). Once that class is completed we will move back to the main ring and run the leadline class. We will be sure to give time to all, so any tack changes that need to occur can happen, however the hope is that while the specialty class is running, lead liners can be tacking up:)

There will be a separate fee for the specialty class. $7 for members and $10 for non members. This class will not be included in the all day rate, BECAUSE we plan to award the 1st-6th place winners with cash prizes!!
Woohoo!!

Assuming we have enough interest in the class, the plan is to award the following amounts:
$20 first
$15 second
$10 third
$8 fourth
$5 fifth
$3 sixth

We hope you will all take part to make this class a success. THe pattern and course details have been posted in a previous message, so be sure to check it out so you can have an idea of what to expect. There is also a demo video that has been posted to our site for you to look at!

Here is a demo video of the specialty class we will be running at the Sept 7th show. Hopefully it gives you an idea of how the pattern will run. Kudos to my boy Shyloh for coming out cold and remembering some of his showmanship/trail training. Lol! Not too bad for a retired show pony:)

Only one week to go until our Sept 7th horse show!! Time is flying by and we are eagering getting ready to host one more show before the season is over. This one is going to be GREAT!!! You definitely do not want to miss it. PLEASE contact Donna as soon as possible with pre-entries for the event. You can email your entries to [email protected] or just send Donna a message that you would like to recycle a previous entry form from one of the other shows.

Some show highlights:
**Grand and Reserve Championships in 7 divisions
**A specialty award for Most Versatile Horse
**Random draw prizes in 3 different classes

**A specialty showmaship class that combines elements of in-hand trail with showmanship manuevers

If you love showmanship and you love trail, we've got a challenge class for you to try at the upcoming show on Sept. 7th.

Yes! We are hosting a specialty class that combines elements of showmanship and trail, for a fun in-hand class.

The pattern is posted below with instructions for the course. The idea is to show as if you are in a showmanship class but with the added elements of poles, cones, chutes and boxes to manuever around. It will be judged from a base score of 70 points (just like showmanship or trail) and your performance determines if you plus or minus each manuever.

The normal class rates apply for this class, so $7 for members and $10 for non-members, or the all day rate if it factors in. There will be a separate sign up sheet in the office on show day for you to sign up on. If you are pre-entering, you can let Donna know ahead of time that you would like to add this class:)

Any points you earn in this class will count towards the overall high point award for the day. They will not count towards divisions, however.

We hope you will consider entering this class and making it a success.

The course will likely be set up in the west ring and this class will take place immediately following class number 8.
