🐾This week is National Veterinary Technician Week and we're giving a big PAWS UP for the amazing veterinary technicians and assistants that we are so fortunate to have in our hospitals. 🐾

Our technical staff wears many hats and they wear each of them with the utmost compassionate care. At any given moment they can be a teacher, radiology tech, surgical assistant, receptionist, friend, anesthesia tech, lab tech, pharmacy tech, counselor, paramedic, and many more...but at the core of it all...the title that they hold at all times...animal lover. ❤

Thank you to all of our veterinary technicians and assistants for doing all you do for pets...and their people. We can't wait to celebrate you ALL WEEK LONG!

First up is Courtney (Vet Tech/Hospital Manager)- “My fiancé and I have 4 dogs and 2 cats! Yes, our house is a madhouse at times, but we love and appreciate every second of it! ❤️”

Things are heating up quite a bit this week, which means it's a good time to review ways to keep your pet safe during the warmer weather. ☀️ Heatstroke can cause a range of serious symptoms and can be fatal. That’s why ensuring pets are hydrated and protected from the heat is so important. 💧

If you've been to the clinic this week or driven past, you may have noticed a new addition to our sign!
URGENT CARE AVAILABLE Tuesday-Friday 8am-4pm
What does this mean? Nothing will be actually changing, we just want all pet owners to be aware of our capability to handle emergency/urgent veterinary visits during our regularly scheduled hours. We will do our best to handle the situation completely or at least get things started prior to transfer to 24-hour ER care.
We still appreciate a phone call ahead and/or an appointment to be made, but if you find yourself in an emergency situation during these hours, don't hesitate to stop in!
