📣🚨BOTTLE KITTEN FOSTER NEEDED📣🚨

These two kittens were just dropped off on our porch after closing. It was only when one of our staff members was getting ready to leave for the day noticed the box on the way out and found two kittens inside. They are approximately 2 - 3 weeks in age and are in urgent assistance. If anyone is able to help please reach out to us on our text line at 803-272-8410

We have someone who is able to watch them tonight however we will need someone to pick them up tomorrow to provide further care.

Meet Hutch ❤️🐾

Hutch is mixed breed who is approximately 7 months old and he is FULLY VETTED! He has the most adorable underbite and loves affection and attention by both dogs and humans. He’s a playful and happy guy who is sure to make even the saddest of days the happiest. Hutch came to us a a stray by Animal Control in June of this year. Of course we noticed his underbite first then we also noticed he had an old injury to his snout. Part of his snout had been crushed and one of his canine teeth had broken and became lodged into the roof of his mouth causing discomfort and difficulty with his breathing as it interfered with his nasal cavity which air needed to pass through to breath. Of course our wonderful medical team fixed him right up. Even with him having endured something so traumatic he still greets everyone he meets with a happy face and a happy tail. He’s done great with other dogs and even does well with cats. He loves children and enjoys belly rubs and snuggling up with his foster parents, as well as running outside with his furry foster friends.

Meet Wyatt 🐾❤️

Wyatt is approximately 1 and a half years old weighing 35 lbs and is FULLY VETTED! He came to us as a stray in July and unfortunately his owner was not found. He is a very happy boy who is full of life and pure joy. He’s great with other dogs and enjoys being outdoors. He craves human affection and is hopeful that one day someone will come and make him a furever member of their family.

Don’t forget about our friends in foster…🩷🐾

We have Fran and Gizmo in foster homes right now who are waiting for their families to come and adopt them. Both of them with very different and unique personalities, however, they both have one thing in common…they are waiting on you!

Fran is a very affectionate and playful girl who does great with kids and other dogs. She even does will with her fosters daughter who has autism. Fran is a very loyal girl who will show you unconditional love from the start. She does great on a leash and rides wonderful in a car. She is FULLY VETTED and is patiently waiting for her chance to have a family and home of her own.

Gizmo is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. He loves going for walks and does wonderful on a leash. He gets along with other dogs and LOVES children. Gizmo enjoys taking baths and playing with toys. He is deaf but doesn’t let them stop him from living life to the fullest. Gizmo is a very smart boy who picks up on sign language quickly. He is FULLY VETTED and ready to meet you and fill your life with joy and happiness. Sadness is not in this boys vocabulary as he only sees the bright side to everything.

Meet Rebecca ❤️🐾🐶

Rebecca is approximately 6 years old and weighs around 50 lbs. She is FULLY VETTED and ready for her chance at a having a family and home of her own!
She was brought to us as her owner passed away and she stayed by her owners side even after his passing. She’s a very loving girl who is house broken and enjoys lounging on her bed and does a happy dance when she gets to go outside. Rebecca does well on a leash and loves going for walks. Myth: Heartworm isn't an issue unless you live in a warm climate.
Fact: Heartworm is transmitted by mosquitoes – so warm, muggy areas are certainly hotbeds, but infection has been reported in all 50 U.S. states. If a mosquito carrying heartworm larvae bites your dog – one bite is all it takes!
Heartworms are not contagious- and they are NOT passed from animal to animal.

Have your pets heartworm tested.
Keep your pets on preventatives.
Heartworms can be treated, but Prevention is ALWAYS better than Treatment!
