Riding lesson and boarding stable Located in Camden since 1975, we offer boarding with 21 stalls and daily turnout. Summer camps are also available.

Lessons focus on fun, safety and skill progression. We offer hunt seat and showing to western leisurely trail rides. Riders from 5 yrs. old to adults are welcome. If competing is what you like, join our show team. We show at least once a month on the CEC Circuit. Candi C***s is a certified instructor with a degree from Lake Erie College.

SPRINGDALE STABLES FEBRUARY 3 HORSE SHOW

We have decided to run the walk/trot divisions next door to save time. We have several walk/trot entries and will start the beginner walk/trot division at 12:00 so we can finish before dark. The Green/adult walk/trot/canter classes will start after the Derby. Be aware that will move the crossrails and future hunters earlier. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The Springdale Stables show team had 22 riders earn year end awards at our Camden Equine Circuit banquet held at the Steeplechase Museum last weekend. What a great year for a great group of riders!

We showed in 13 divisions throughout the season and brought home 11 champions and 7 reserve champions. I am also super proud that these were all won on my lesson horses and ponies.

Isla Hardin rode Strictly Business to the top of the new The Tack Room Mini-Derby by accumulating the most points throughout the show season. The Tack Room generously donated $500 and Isla won $200. Isla also won another new award, Grand Champion of the entire circuit, accumulating the most points this year. To top that off, she was also awarded The Sportsmanship Award. What a fairytale year for her.

Marsha Baker won our volunteer award this year. She designed the CEC t-shirts and several decorations we used at the banquet. She also made medals for CEC Medal riders.

This coming year we are excited that more students have committed to purchasing and leasing their own horses to show! None of this would be possible without the support of their dedicated parents. Hauling them to weekly lessons and monthly shows, rain, freezing or boiling temps - they are there cheering on not only their children, but our whole team! Most don’t run home as soon as they are done, but commit to the whole day. If someone says tent competition, lookout - they are in it to win and I must say they are good!!!

Looking forward to 2024, growth in familiar partnerships, new partnerships and always growing together as The Springdale Stables Family!

I wanted to thank everyone for coming to our October Camden Equine Circuit Horse Show. We had 70 brave exhibitors who did not get 👻 spooked 👻 by the competition! As it should be, the largest class of the day was the costume class. It was split with 14 in the first section and 19 in the second section. Now you tell me what other class ever has 33 entries?! Setting records here!

We look forward to CEC Medal Finals coming up and can’t wait to see everyone in February for the next Springdale Stables show!

Sunday we had a great time setting the course and decorating the jumps for the CEC Halloween horse show at Springdale Stables October 28. What a great barn family we have. When finished working we had the best potluck lunch and of course finished the day with a ride.

Happy Hump Day! We are excited to be back in the swing of things with school starting and afternoon lessons scheduled. Ella had a great ride on Sandy today along with Leah and Bella, Olivia and Taz, and Savannah with her Roux. ➡️ Check the comments for more videos!!! Finished six weeks of summer camp. Our advanced camp was small but they worked hard on their jumping skills as well as doing fun things. Egg and spoon, water in a cup and lipstick challenge were very competitive. They had a great time riding in the pond. They tie dyed fly bonnets and decorated t-shirts for crafts.

I guess Lucky has joined summer camp. She found the markers she wanted, now to steal someone’s poster

Lucky was in the middle of crafts during camp but couldn’t find the red marker which she desperately needed. Apparently what she already had on the floor would not do.

Today is definitely a #FeelGoodFriday Katy asked Claire if she would be her Valentine - and she said YES 💝 Congratulation to Claire and The Cochran Family on their half lease of Vindikayted! We can’t wait to see you shine ✨

We had a great show at Pine Tree Stables June 9th. There were 11 riders that braved the heat to show. Mary Ashton on Sandy started us out in the short stirrup division by winning 2 firsts, 2 seconds and a fourth and bringing home the champion in the hunter division. Madison showed Grover in the long stirrup hunter division placing 1st, 2nd and 5th giving her enough points for reserve champion. We had three competing in the crossrail division. Makynzie on Bella won 2 seconds, 2 thirds and a fourth. Priscilla Brice rode Grover for a 3rd, 4th and 6th with Ella placing 4th on Bucky. Laney rode Gracie for a second place in the future hunter division. Lillian on Misty and Emerson on Gracie both placed in their walk/trot division. Isla got a second and two fourths on Bucky. Maggie brought home a champion in her walk/trot division by placing 1st, 3rd and 6th. Rhett closed out the day by winning two firsts and a second for champion in the walk/trot no diagonal division. A big thanks to the Hardin's and Shannon for hauling horses so all these kids could show. Back to summer camp then the Voxton show in July.
