This adorable yellow lab puppy is Sadie Mae! She’s only 14 weeks. I’m boarding and puppy imprinting with Sadie while her owner is having surgery. I keep all the puppies in my house at this age.

How many of you have a hard time giving your dogs a bath?
Layla was in heat, thank goodness it’s over!
First bath outside the kennel building. Needless to say she was not thrilled. I really don’t care, she must comply. And she did 😉

I didn’t write this, but found it on another dog trainer’s post. It has hit home with me and I had to share it. I can share my own experience with my Shepherds.
The breeders absolutely make a difference!

A dog trainer cannot fix genetics
A dog trainer cannot fix genetics
A dog trainer cannot fix genetics

Normal families should not have to manage extremely aggressive dogs.

Normal families cannot handle dogs with extreme behavior issues.

Stop normalizing puppies that are extremely fearful and thinking it’s cute.

Stop getting dogs and not socializing them correctly.

Stop purchasing puppies from backyard breeders and wondering why they have behavior issues.

Stop purchasing working breeds and not working them.

Stop choosing breeds that don’t fit your lifestyle. Research the breed before you buy or adopt.

Stop expecting your dog trainer to work miracles on your genetically fearful or aggressive dogs, without doing your homework.

On Wednesday only 3 days before my Rumor’s 8th birthday, I had to put her to rest. Rumor was diagnosed about 2 years ago with an autoimmune disease. The disease became too painful to manage any longer.
Rumor was my bestie, my ride or die girl. She was the dog I took to the dog training academy and my biggest source of comfort while we were in Texas those 3 and a half months. She became, along with Austin my best demo dog. I never in million years thought she would lose her life this way. I’m so grateful to have had her the almost 8 years I did!
Rest in peace my beautiful girl 💔

Peggy Sue/aka Pickle has been upgraded to the house. A senior dog, she has undergone training and boarding at our facility several times over the last two years. Her reactions in the kennel during this visit prompted me to notice that she wasn't doing well; however, her stress levels are lower now that she's in the house.

Good morning! I’m trying to help one of my first and favorite clients rehome Murphy. Murphy is such a good boy. I would honestly love to take him myself but I’m at my limit 😂! He’s fully trained! Murphy is 7 years old, loves going on walks and adventures but can be chill and snuggly. He would do well with small dogs and older children.
