🐶🐈‍⬛Let’s talk puppy/Kitten grooming🐶🐈‍⬛
Did you get a new puppy or kitten around Christmas? Or thinking of getting one soon? Here are some things that will help your new furry family member transition to their first grooming experience 🐾
☑️ Start grooming between 10-12 weeks: this will be a mini groom that will include a bath/brush, nails, and light trimming on face, feet and sanitary if needed. Kittens may only need a nail trim, but starting them young will help with kennel traveling in addition to nail trims!
☑️ Start brushing at home, form a habit of brushing and combing regularly. This will help with the transition so that all these “scary tools” already look familiar to your pup or kitten✂️
☑️Dropping off for a spa day will show them that you will be back❤️ (we call this the Kindergarten drop off🤣) the second you leave the shaking stops and they come with us🥰
☑️They get familiar to being in a kennel setting. If should you ever have to put them in a kennel for an emergency they will already be used to it. ❤️
