Meet Sir Bogdan Knight also referred to as Boggy.
Boggy is a KB Black yorkie, who has had a full Embark breeder panel done. Not only is he 100% Yorkshire terrier he is also clear on all 256 genetic health conditions that Embark tests for.
He loves to be loved and give love. He’s happiest when he’s with people. He is doggie door trained and doesn’t get car sick.
He is currently looking for someone to call his own. He is UTD on age appropriate shots, microchipped, and will have a final vet check before moving to his new home.
Things you should know-
He LOVES cookies (dog treats) almost as much as belly rubs.
He gets a long well with other dogs.
I don’t have a cat so I can’t promise he likes them.
He loves a snuggly blanket or a soft dog bed.
He does NOT LIKE skunks 🦨 not sure I can blame him on that one. This last June he and his friends were worked up over a skunk who paid a visit. Most of the visit was unremarkable and just left us with a few stinky dogs, unfortunately Boggy was so riled up over the skunk that he broke his leg at the wrist (paw) despite splint care, vet visits every 3 days and lots of rest. His leg didn’t heal properly and we sadly had to schedule an amputation.
Do you think that has slowed him
Down ? Not even a little bit. He is showing a remarkable recovery ❤️🩹 and if you ask him he doesn’t even know he has 3 legs. He can still jump, run, sit, and play.
What he does need is a lap he can rest in and someone to live his life with.
