Our Vice President, Carol Burnham, had the honor of receiving this $3,500 donation earlier this week. A heartfelt THANK YOU to the Chetek Chamber of Commerce and all participating retailers for choosing us as the recipient of this year's Wine Walk proceeds!! These funds will be put to good use, allowing us to perform some much needed repairs to the park's supply shed as well as continuing to provide waste bags and trash service at the park, and other operating supplies. Again, thank you to the Chamber and all of the retailers and participants that made this amazing donation possible! Stay tuned for updates on our soon to be improved shed! ☺️

Be aware that when dog's chew up and swallow corn cobs they run a high risk of intestinal obstruction that requires surgery to address. The smell of buttery corn cobs can be irresistible to even a well behaved dog and lead them to counter surf for a snack!

So, be sure your cobs are secured in the garbage, that compost piles are not accessible, and PLEASE don't throw them 'over the fence' where a neighbor's dog might eat them.

We have noticed a rise in cases of infectious respiratory disease in the last few days. Patients have had moderate sneezing, runny noses, low grade fevers, and mild coughs. Infectious respiratory disease is a syndrome that can be caused by single or multiple pathogens (virus, bacteria, fungus, etc). Tests are pending.

If your dog is showing any of these signs please keep them home and be aware pathogens can be passed on clothing, bedding, hands, etc.

If symptoms are mild patients generally don't require medications. Monitor drinking and eating and make sure they have plenty of chances to rest.
