Had an absolutely amazing time at the 2024 ADGA National Convention WI!!!

Now I’m home and it’s time to apply what I’ve learned and move this little herd of mine closer to our final destination!!

That being said….sooooo many absolutely lovely girls are in search of new barns!

I have a few 2024 Nigerian doelings straight out of my keeper pen (prob 3-4)

A handful of yearlings, and at least 10 (or more) mature does.

This is the time to get them as I am incredibly motivated at this moment and I don’t want to think on this for too long:) priority will be given to performance homes, especially if you participate in DHI, and I will add huge discounts to anyone who participates in all 3 programs!!

These are all does with impressive pedigrees and the data to back them up. These aren’t culls, I just need to really focus on what I’m doing here and not everyone can stay if I’m going to do that!

Fall on the farm means it’s time for some very hard cuts…this isn’t quite all of them, but these are the most difficult so I’m doing them first 😢 I absolutely MUST get my herd size to a more manageable number…so sadly, these stellar does are in search of a new show 🏠. We had a fantastic time at The Big Fresno Fair yesterday. It was insanely hot, but the competition was phenomenal and the company was even better! I haven’t made it to many shows this year, so it was so nice to squeak out one last show!

Our Togg dry yearling, Ashabi Farms Rebel Alliance, went Reserve Grand Champion in ring one under judge Emily Healy

And our little Jr Recorded Grade Kid, Ashabi Farms PV Sunflower, went Reserve Grand Champion in ring 2 under Judge Dan Laney

We had many class firsts with our Nigerian kids as well and I’m so excited about the direction our herd is heading in:)

Ashabi Farms SK Stormy Knight placed 1st in ring 1 and 2nd in ring 2 in a large class of senior kids as the youngest kid in the class just barely squeaking into that class by a few days, and Ashabi Farms RD Sakura placed 2nd in a huge class of intermediate kids in ring 1.

We are super excited about these particular kids and cannot wait to watch them mature:)

***Update on our Togg raffle doeling***

She made her trip to Virginia and arrived safe and sound! She even got to attend her first ever show, at the Virginia State Fair where she was named RCH Jr Doe under judge Dan Laney!

We are so proud of this entire litter and could not be happier that she is already shining in her new home! Congrats to Cheri Peraino for the excellent placing, and thank you for the beautiful updated photo of Ashabi Farms PV StarzInHerEyes💕

This doe is on the hunt for a new barn. She is currently in milk and dam raising her single 2024 doe kid and being stripped out twice a day. Kid will be weaned after I return from convention and Unvieled can go at that time.

This doe has a power packed pedigree. Her 2F udder has an absolutely lovely texture and milks down easily by hand or by machine. I need to do a fill on her but time has not been on my side these days!

She is not an in your pocket doe but is easy to handle and pretty easy to clip for show. When I first got her she was nearly impossible to milk, but we have resolved that issue and I milk her with ease am & pm. (She is a bit jumpy if something out of the ordinary happens but has only knocked my milk pail over once)

She is an excellent mother if you want to dam raise but always comes in to be milked if not raising her kids.

She should be a phenomenal doe to add to a breeding program and I am absolutely thrilled with the doe kid I’m retaining for this year!!

I have a goal of moving at least 15 more does this year which is the only reason this girl is being offered.

We had a great collection on Sunday…all 3 boys we brought were successfully collected and I’m very proud to offer them:)

These boys all have some stunning and successful dams, as well as beautiful daughters!

Jump at these prices because as soon as some of these daughters are freshened and get into those performance programs you’ll be glad you did!

Getting ready for collection this weekend and we realized we haven’t announced this guy yet😱😱…I was given the opportunity to co-own this buck with Renrivier Dairy Goats , and because I’m not stupid, I jumped at it!

Brio has already been busy at work for us and will continue to be for the rest of the fall!! We are also having him collected this weekend and cannot wait to add this guy to our tank to utilize for years to come. Every kid I’ve seen sired by Brio has been 🔥🔥.

And that’s a wrap! Our 2024 kidding season has ended….finally!

Goat Addiction Unveiled X Ilenesrascals Raymond Dear gifted us with a late in the season single doeling last night💕.

The plan has always been to retain a doeling from Unveiled and then allow her to move along to help build beauty in another herd. So she will be in search of a new show barn after weaning:)
