We had 2 fun filled days hanging out with Poppy and her new cousin, Penelope! Poppy was so excited for us to be at her house and baby P was just excited to play with anyone!

Did you know we can do house visits? If my schedule is open and not booked with anything else, drop ins, day hang outs and walks can happen! Just reach out!
It’s like a vacation from my house to get out for the day and enjoy work. ❤️

WILDFLOWER ALERT!

Check out this gorgeous wildflower field, located in the Carlisle area at Meadowbrooke Gourds! I have shot sunflowers here and noticed they have opened this beautiful wildflower field up to guests and photographers to use for free. What an amazingly kind thing to do! They are even allowing patrons to clip their own bouquets to take home for free.

If anyone would like a session, they are open until dusk which means golden hour is a possibility. Shoot me a message or leave a comment if you are interested and we can coordinate a time in the near future.

The beauty you see vs the Penny we love. 💕

How I met Penny ❤️ Penny and her parents were walking in my neighborhood and I haven’t seen Penny before so I asked “did you just adopt her?” This led to conversation on getting to know Penny and learning that she was struggling a bit on transitioning to a normal dog life. She didn’t know how to play with toys. She didn’t know how to make eye contact. She didn’t know how to interact with other dogs or people. She didn’t know what to do with this new amazing life. I told her parents about JNF, expecting them to blow it off as it was a bad “business plug” 🥴 Well, Pennys parents were intrigued and wanted the best for their girl. They wanted to be able to leave their house and not worry. They wanted to eventually go away. I was honest with the hurdles we might have but I was in, if they were. Our beautiful friendship started then. 🙂 I worked with Penny one on one. I worked with her, while playing with JoJo. It took me, what felt like forever, for her to take a treat from my hand. You could see her mind piecing things together during each session though. It took a few play dates for Penny to pick up a toy. When she did, I thought I was going to cry! You could see Penny learning who she was. This was about 7 months ago. Now? Penny comes for daycare & for overnights. Penny knows my house & who we are. She plays with toys, chews on bones and runs around my backyard with the other dogs. She cuddles, licks us and sleeps on me when she’s tired. She’s funny. She’s energetic. She’s loving. She’s so sweet. This is proof that daycare can be blessing to your dog. This is proof that you don’t have to be stuck at home, with this dog, you’re starting to question if this was the right choice. This is proof that teamwork made Pennys dream work. This is proof that I love what I do. For you & your dog. 🐾
