Our farm provides boarding, training and riding lessons for all ages and several disciplines. We specialize in teaching trail riding! We have competitive riders but we have way more recreational riders! Our focus is healthy outdoor activity involving horses and often other animals. Traveling with your horse and need an overnight layover? We are a Horse Motel! We can provide your horse with a stall

Now that things have settled down a bit, we’d like to introduce ourselves as the new owners of Misty Ridge! My name is Maddie Schutte and I grew up riding at Misty Ridge starting at the age of 7. I boarded my pony, Buzz, at the farm and took lessons from Anna for years. My fiancé, Wember Grande, is a jack of all trades and is the handiest person I know- he never expected to be living the farm life, but he’s having a blast!
We are so excited to be a part of Misty Ridge’s next chapter. I am a licensed mental health therapist and I’m working to establish my own private practice so that I can offer equine assisted psychotherapy at the farm. We also hope to expand the lesson program so that even more people can experience the amazing impact that horses provide.
We’re looking forward to meeting everyone from the Misty Ridge community! Come on out sometime!

I just want to take a moment to brag about the workers of Misty Ridge Farm! Being a full care boarding facility comes with a lot of responsibilities and hands on duties. Rain or shine, our workers show up and tackle whatever needs to be done. Today was no exception! We dealt with sweltering heat and then crazy storms! Add in a pony with a belly ache and that sums up our day! 🤪
Thank you to every worker who gives their time and talents to the farm. The feeders, stall cleaners, lesson instructors, cobweb clearers, bucket cleaners, and so many more! You are all appreciated!
Shout out to Chloe and Devon for braving the storms to bring our horses in from the pastures.

This darn hen was so determined to have babies! Her first attempt didn't hatch any.....she has 6 this time! They were in the layloft and she called them to fly/fall out yesterday! What a surprise they fell 12 feet into sand and are fine!! You gotta love Mother Nature!!
