Our Mission Statement
Golden Bone Wellness Center was envisioned this year after losing our close friend to leukemia. Her three beautiful dogs are still here, and we promised to care for them along with Angela, the owner of Golden Bone Pet Products. I had wanted to start offering Stem Cell Therapy and Platelet Rich Plasma to patients 4 years ago, but did not have the space or capital to start such a venture. I have been an Emergency Veterinarian full time the last year and a half and treated emergencies most of my 17 year career. We ran Complete Pet Care the mobile vet practice from 2008-2016 and offered emergency and daytime services. I was a Chemist prior to being a Veterinarian and also worked for the Military as a consultant. All of this experience will be used in this new venture. Things fall into place when it is the right time and Cris and I are excited to now be able to offer these procedures which can change a dog’s or cat’s life. It can also be used for osteoarthritis, hip dysplasia, joint cartilage damage, ligament and tendon damage. We will also be offering cancer vaccines made from the patient’s own tumor to fight cancer from the inside out. We chose to be called the wellness center, as we are offering therapies that can reverse and heal these destructive painful changes instead of just medicating for the pain. We are practicing regenerative medicine instead of palliative. We want to see your pets run and play again. There are other uses for the stem cells and platelet rich plasma such as wound management, stomatitis, intervertebral disc disease and the list goes on. These are compassionate care cases and are reviewed individually. The stem cells can also be banked for later use so only one surgical procedure has to be done. After 17 years of practice, I am still excited about furthering Veterinary Medicine and what we can offer your pets to give them the best quality of life for as long as possible. We look forward to seeing you and sharing your before and after stories. We are starting our story with Rosie, our Cockapoo that had a spinal injury and Andy, Nadia Caillou’s 13 year old Great Pyrenees mix with arthritis in his hips.
