The hardest part about what we do, is having to say goodbye to the ones that leave paw prints on our hearts. We were blessed and honored to be a friend to you on this wild ride little one. You were a strong fighter, loved to the fullest by all who met you, and a total legend that will live on in the hearts of everyone that you touched. As a mycologist and regular viewer of the poison ID forums, you would not believe how many dogs eat poisonous plants and mushrooms every single day. There are a lot of common poisonous landscaping plants and mushrooms, some of which may be in your yard, or on your daily walks. Training a dog to obey a Leave-it command could very well save their life!
