Come and learn about clicker training for your dog, cat or even bird! We will review how and why clickers are used to reach a desired behavior. Learn about the history of clicker training and Karen Pryor's impact on clicker training. Dogs are invited to attend this hands-on one day seminar with their handler.

Cost for this class will be $45 per dog/handler and will include a clicker and other goodies!

CALL (860)435-8353 To reserve your spot!

🐾TRICK DOG CLASSES: (6 Weeks): This class will teach fun tricks and all students completing this class, will have the option to have an evaluation following the completion of this course, for a chance to receive an AKC Trick Dog title. This course has a prerequisite minimum of either a puppy or basic obedience course.

🐾CALM CANINE CLASSES:
During this class, many topics are covered to help create a calm canine. Exercises to help your dog stay engaged with you and be comfortable with the handling that is performed at a vet, groomer, etc. is practiced. Owners will also learn how to help their dog be comfortable around situations they fear without overwhelming them (desensitization vs. flooding). We review how an owner can help their dog decompress when they are at a heightened state and need to calm down. We will also touch on how nutrition can affect behavior and help owners build a bowl appropriate to their dog's needs.

Lucie, Brooklyn, Ruthie and Mavis are enjoying some agility obstacles as part of our Intro to Dog Sports Class. Each week handlers and dogs learn about the different dog sports they can play.

Lucie, Mavis, Ruthie and Brooklyn were introduced to the scent of birch and were learning how to detect it during our introduction to dog sports class.

Pearl is a very sweet girl who loves frequenting the pool with her dad.

So our day train puppy Ellie has developed a crush on Ziggy and will seem to follow him everywhere. With the help of our wonderful swim instructor, Mary, Ellie is gaining more confidence in the pool and improving her swimming. Ellie has also been learning how to improve her obedience while having the distraction of playing with other dogs.

Today in classes, the pups got to have some fun playing. Brooklyn and Lucie were becoming fast friends tonight. Then Ella got to burn some energy and learn appropriate play behavior with Ginny.
