It is with much consideration and deliberating that I have made the decision that I have to raise some prices in order to make ends meet in this line of work. Recent injuries as well as getting smacked in the face with the cost of living in this state have made it clear this absolutely needs to happen. As of October 2024 I will be implementing these knew prices. If you need to cancel an already booked appointment due to these changes please let me know. I apologize for any inconvenience. New rates are as follows:

Per goat price-
💥$10 per goat- this eliminates the drop to $8 after five that is currently in use
💥$25 stop fee- this replaces the current gas fee altogether and is for every stop
💥$15 per disbudding
💥Last Minute Cancellation fee-$50 to cover the stop and loss of work. (I am a reasonable person, but in the rare instances this happens I do need to be covered for loss of time and money)
All other areas of service will remain the same

With that sorted, another area needs to be addressed. Wild animals! If you can’t catch your goat please don’t expect me to. I have been hurt more times than I can count by owners not being prepared for my arrival and having loose, wild goats or sheep. A scared/stressed animal is more dangerous than anything in my line of work, not only to themselves but to me. Skittish or wild animals MUST be penned in a small space or tied/haltered before I arrive to ensure they and myself are safe in this process. If you have an aggressive animal, I need to know that before I arrive, not as I’m already in the pen with said animal. I have young children that depend on me to come home in one piece, and too often of late I’ve been coming home battered, broken and bruised because animals are wild and uncaught. I reserve to right to refuse service on such animals

PSA for anyone scheduled the rest of this week or next. My grinding tools are all down as of this point. Once again they’ve all went down at the same time. The company has no loaner to send time this time so I have to wait for them to be repaired. If you want to reschedule for when I have my grinders back please let me know. Otherwise basic clipper trims is all I can do at this moment. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Fractured finger 😑 Doc says no work for a few days and see how it is. If you are on my immediate schedule this might affect the appt. I will message individually as is needed. Swelling is going down a little after three days so hoping that means it’s healing quick and this won’t take too long. Bear with me as I let my finger heal so I can continue taking care of your animals.

Hello everyone! I hope the new year is treating you all good so far! As most of you know Jan/Feb is my kidding season here at my farm so work can be limited especially in weeks where there are several birthing. I’m light of this the end of Jan/first week of Feb is going to be very busy here. That being sad I still need to try and work as much as I’m able, so if you are fairly local to my area and can take a last minute service call or can be flexible in that way and want on a list for me to call if I have time between kidding/milking the last two weeks of Jan please let me know! I will call in the order you are on the list and if a day/time doesn’t work I will go down the list. Thankyou all for your patience and understanding during these busy spells.

Hi everyone. I have a client that is in dire need of homes for her goats. Three are standard breed and have been housed together (1 older Oberhasli wether no horns, 1 younger alpine doe (2-3 yrs old im guessing) horned, and a horned wether (young 1-2 yrs old) that is likely a mix of Swiss breeds. The other group is a group of 5 or 6 Nigerian dwarves. Mostly wethers I believe maybe a doe or two. Client needs them to find good homes as soon as possible. Pm for info.
