Reminder! Monday, August 19th, we are hosting another walk-in vaccine clinic. Income qualification is NOT required. Anyone can attend. No appointments will be made ahead of time.

It's 8:30 am - 12 pm and 1 - 4 pm.

Vaccines are $25 each (except for Lyme, $40.68)

📸🐾 Meet Tuna Fish, the Brave Kitten! 🐾📸

A few weeks ago, a kind family found this adorable little kitten, Luna, and brought her to our veterinary hospital for her first check-up. Just look at her face—it's as if she's saying, "I don't want no test!" 😸

But testing is an important part of ensuring our furry friends stay healthy. During her visit, we tested Luna for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). These tests are crucial for every kitten and cat to ensure they are healthy and to prevent the spread of these viruses to other cats.

What are FIV and FeLV?

FIV: (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus): it affects a cat's immune system, making them more susceptible to other infections.
FeLV: (Feline Leukemia Virus): Affects a cat's immune system and can lead to cancers and other serious illnesses.
Both viruses are serious, but early detection can help in managing the health of infected cats and protecting others they may come into contact with.

We’re happy to report that Tuna Fish is healthy and ready to enjoy her new life with her loving family! ❤️🐱
