Found all the Yellow Tangs, they are smartly hiding in the nature preserve on the southern tip of Maui.

A rugged walk over 250 yards of jagged rock from the most recent lava flow on Maui from about 400 years ago; leads to a slightly daunting water entry that is the gateway to what is probably the best snorkeling reef in the Hawaiian chain. Closed for much of the last 20 years, there is now a parking lot and guided path at 'Ahihi-Kina'u that is stationed by knowledgeable Park Rangers. Happy to report the reefs on Maui look much better than they did 5 years ago. However, yellow tangs are still extremely rare so far.
