11/1/24 Update: Dr Bookbinder is still facing health challenges. We are able to see new cases, however our schedule continues to be limited. Please be aware that he has several medical appointments for himself, and we are not always afforded much time to prepare for them and adjust his schedule accordingly. Your well wishes and continued patience is very much appreciated.

As many of you know, Dr. Bookbinder and his wife Sarah, who is a wildlife rehabilitator, have founded a non-profit wildlife rehabilitation center, Charles N. Gordon Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, Inc. (named in honor of Dr. Bookbinder's uncle). They are about to issue their first printed newsletter. 10/1/24 We are happy to announce that Dr Bookbinder has returned to work, and we are now available to accept new referral cases. Please feel free to contact the office with any questions. We're grateful for the overwhelming support you've all shown Dr Bookbinder during this challenging time.

*Update 9/24/24* Dr Bookbinder will be in the office and performing surgery. However, his schedule will be limited to allow for his continued healing. At this time, we are still unable to accept any new clients or patients. We are hopeful that in a few more weeks we will be back to normal business hours. Thank you for your kind words and well wishes.

As we approach the 3rd day of Dr Bookbinder's limited return to appointments and surgeries, we ask that you all continue to respect his current health challenge. We as a team appreciate the outpouring of support for our kind, talented veterinary surgeon. We are all looking forward to his complete recovery and the restoration of normal business operations. Thank you for your continued patience as we lighten our schedule to allow Dr Bookbinder the time he needs to heal. Please note that we are currently unable to take on any new cases at this time. We hope to be able to start booking new cases mid September.
