Just a couple reminders:

We will be closing early today at NOON! Limited appointment availability at this time.

As people begin their celebrations, make sure your pets are safe & secure with the expected loud noises & fireworks! Make sure microchips are up to date with your current information and that if your pet requires tranquilizers or white noise, that those are provided.

Otherwise, have a SAFE & HAPPY New Year and we'll catch you in 2025! 🎆

As summer temperatures soar, numerous individuals are heading to lakes and rivers with their pets to escape the heat. When visiting these water-based destinations, it is vital to be aware of warning signs and knowledgeable about the risks associated with toxic Blue Green Algae, taking necessary measures to avoid affected areas and protect your pet from this potentially fatal bloom. If concerned about potential exposure, seek immediate veterinary care or consult your veterinarian.

Happy Independence Day! Remember please be mindful of those critters out there! If your pet gets nervous with fireworks, make sure their space is secure to avoid risk of escape or injury!

Close windows and doors. Bring pets inside. Play white noise to drowned out the sound. Isolate them if necessary to a smaller bedroom or bathroom with that white noise. Planning ahead and talking to your veterinarian about tranquilizers can also be helpful!
If you see an animal running, try to capture and seek a veterinarian for a chip scan to locate owners. Every year many pets escape and become injured due to fear!

Have fun, party it up but watch out for your furry family members who don’t understand why we are celebrating and making scary noises 💥 🎆

WE ARE HIRING!

We are seeking to add another kennel/janitorial assistant to our team! This position focuses on clinic presentation & cleanliness as well as helping with animal care (walking/feeding/medicating).
THIS IS NOT A VETERINARY ASSISTANT POSITION!
You will focus 99% of your time on cleaning; sweeping, mopping, garbage, p**p scooping, dusting, etc....
Hours & days will be discussed but this will be a VERY PART TIME POSITION.
Duties begin at 5pm during the week and weekends will be required (am/pm split). We have 1 other kennel assistant on our team so this person will cover the days she's not here.

IF YOU DON'T WANT TO CLEAN, DO NOT APPLY! This is a very important role to keep the clinic presentable and help aid our very busy support staff.

***would be a great position for someone looking to work a few hours a week or a high school student with a flexible schedule!
