Meet Wally! Wally was found as a stray and a very nice pilot flew him to Anna Bjerke to be fostered. Wally is three years old. He is emaciated with a body score of 2. He has been treated for hookworms and had some difficulty with a medication that caused him to go to the ER and to the vet the following day for more fluids and treatment. Wally need to gain weight before his neuter. It has been a slow process but he is the nicest little fella and has good energy playing and snuggling with his foster sisters.

An update from Page Brandon. Page is taking supplies up to Lynn. We also wanted to thank everyone for their generosity. It is so very much appreciated and Lynn says thank you and is just moved by all of this love 💗

Hey Rescue Friends,

So many people are asking about Lynn G Daniel so I wanted to put this post here for everyone to know the latest. It was a very hectic week last week, coordinating everything for the 2 trips, so I was not always able to reply to each message in a timely manner, so hopefully this post helps.

Lynn is still doing well. If that ever changes we will certainly let you all know, so consider "no news, good news" . 🥰

I made two trips to her this past week (Tuesday and Saturday) to deliver food, water, dog food, cash, and a long list of other essential items.

I am bringing back laundry each trip to wash for her because she has no water. The latest update told them it could be December before clean water is available. Currently the lakes and rivers are so contaminated and toxic that residents were told not to get near it or let it touch their skin. It is really bad.

Lynn has power as of Friday, but no internet service yet. Without internet she cannot get into PayPal, but if you donated to the rescue's PayPal account, she will get it, just not sure when that will be.

She still has spotty cell reception. She can send and receive texts periodically, but phone calls are harder. She cannot access messenger because that requires internet.

She has no mail service or any other type of delivery service at this time. (We hope that changes soon!) Those who contributed items to her (instead of cash) sent them to me and I delivered them.

Food and gas are still in short supply as well. The lines are hours long and there is no guarantee there will be anything available once she gets to the front of the line, so our deliveries are keeping her going.

Her dogs are all good. She has her 3 personal dogs and 4 fosters and they are her comfort right now. She appreciates all the offers to temp foster her crew, but she wants them to stay where they are.

I will be making another trip to Lynn at the end of the week and we will figure it out week to week from there, based on how services are progressing.

Hello rescue friends and family! Page Brandon made it to Lynn and Kelly plus the pups are safe and have food, water, gas, cash and everything we could think of was taken up. Huge thanks to Page and our volunteers that donated funds to get all of this to them. Page is on her way back home and will be back on Saturday with more supplies and clean laundry. A dear friend of Lynn’s is sending dog food to Page as well.

We still need donations per the pinned post with PayPal and Venmo addresses. Please use my addresses for now until Lynn can access funds. It all goes to the rescue and Lynn!

This is Anna Bjerke … Lynn’s Coordinator for this wonderful rescue. Lynn is safe in her home in Asheville NC, but has no power or cell service at this time.

We need everyone’s help to help the rescue. Lynn has three fosters with her and is unable to tend to her online auction during this heartbreaking time. We have raised money through the amazing fosters and volunteers but we need to cover veterinary costs for all the pups in rescue.
