Meet Olive! She’s a lovely senior gal. Do you have a lovable senior kitty at home? If so, please share a photo! Olive is experiencing some arthritis pain which is very common in older cats. Getting oral meds into cats can be tricky and some pain relievers can be hard on the kidneys. Olive received a new once monthly pain relieving infection called Solensia. We’ll post an update on Olive when she returns for her recheck in 30 days. Phantom, one of our clinic kitties, feels like a kitten when he gets his Solensia. Ask us about pain relief for your senior cat and we’ll explain all the options so you can pick the best one for your friend.

Dr. Mike, Dr. Lesanna, and the talented team at the AHC helped a sick alpaca baby (cria) today. The little one has mild pneumonia and hasn’t been eating as vigorously as expected since her birth two days ago. After receiving treatments today including plasma we are hopeful she’ll be feeling spunky soon! Check out Red Gate Alpaca Farm where this precious baby is from… a great local farm that has a farm store and many wonderful alpaca products. Support local farms!

This young beautiful grey kitty had a big day… She’s a stray who got caught in an engine fan belt. One of her legs and tail were damaged beyond repair and amputated today. She’s a true survivor and full of love despite how tough her life has been. She’s looking for a home and will make a wonderful family member. Let us know if you’re interested.

Molly is a vet assistant with a bachelor's degree in Equine Science as well as certification in equine massage therapy and Raindrop technique. She lives on a horse ranch with her two quarter horses, two dogs, a corgi and a jack russell / rat terrier cross. Molly enjoys rodeo and horse training/massage.

Please WELCOME to our clinic Dr. Lesanna Lahner.

Dr. Lahner (Ingles) has been a veterinarian for ~ 15 years and will be seeing dogs, cats, horses, and whatever comes through the door! She brings acupuncture and holistic medicine to the practice. Dr. Lahner lives in rural Cannon Falls with her husband and too many dogs, cats, horses, sheep, pigs, and chickens. She enjoys pottery, gardening, and trail riding with her draft-cross horses.

One of our deputies found this pup at Hwy 3 and 197th in Empire. No collar or tags. The dog will be taken to Castle Rock Kennels. Please help us find the owner. If this is your dog or you know the owners, call 911 and they can get you in touch with the right people.

Stray dog brought in today from Cannon Falls. He is a male yellow lab and is not neutered. He was found without a collar on and doesn't have a microchip. If he belongs to you, give us a call at 651-388-5286!
