I was a former breeder of Miniature Australian Shepherds. I bred for companionship and for the love of the breed. Our breeding program has been discontinued.

I’m sad and happy to report that all of our current Warsaw Woods dogs are either spayed or neutered. Arson was the last and it happened yesterday. While he was under, new X-rays were taken of my special needs pup. His skeleton structure is sound. No issues. Drs think Flame (mama) probably did step or jump on him while he was a newborn pup and caused some nerve damage. But he gets around just fine. He’s in no pain and is a happy boy!! Big thank you to my daughter Kara and All Creatures in Redwing for taking care of these procedures!! Please folks if you’re not breeding spay, neuter, and chip!!

Yep, he’s a mama’s boy! But I encourage it - sweetest pup ever. We built a ramp for Artie to get down our front steps and he learned how to use it quickly. He loves being able to go outside with the other dogs!!

Rosie is in her new home!! She’s already giving and getting hugs from her new ppl!! New mom Kelly says things are going great!! All have adjusted and all are getting along. I am very happy!!!!

UPDATE!!! I am very happy to report that Rosie has found a new home!! A home with another WW pup in it and a family that works from home! Rosie’s new mom is a former high school classmate and good friend of mine! Rosie will have a new doggie brother and human big sister! Thank you to all who reached out - there were a lot of you!!

Rehoming Needed: This is Rosie!! She is three yrs old and in need of a new home. She is a WW pup. Daughter of Possum / Glacier. She was part of our Breakfast Club - Butter. Arson went to the vet today! Got his rabies and last puppy distemper. Again we did X-rays on his spine. It’s straight. Doc took him through all kinds of nerve reflexs, etc. He has some delay, but it’s all there! Doc Mike said, “I see no pain or discomfort. He gets around, has a healthy appetite, potties just fine. You have a special “special” puppy!” All we’ve ever been concerned with is Arson’s quality of life and Doc said he’s just fine!

I post a lot about Arson bc he’s our last puppy, but he’s also pretty special. Arson has a lower back / sacrum issue. We’re not quite sure what’s all going on, but we’re pretty sure Flame may have jumped on him as a tiny newborn pup and damaged something. He gets around a little different than our other dogs, but he’s amazing!! He never barks or whines - and by nvr I mean I’ve nvr heard him - EVER! He loves his mama and is always with me.

It’s visual that Arson has a disability, but you can see that he’s still just you normal Aussie puppy who loves to be outside and who loves to please his mama!

You never wake sleeping babies or puppies!!! Some are actually snoring.

Got this from Sconnie and Sota’s mom. Watch Sconnie do exactly what Aussies are bred for! This makes my heart happy!! Sconnie knows “to go get the horses.” She brings them to the barn in the morning. Her younger brother Sota knows he needs to pay attention, watch and learn.
